From somewhere nearby, you hear a male voice shout, "Oh Mer Garmoooon... I have come bearing lovely women and stenis!"

Sairsha blushes when her amour compliments her once again. She doesn't answer the comment but just gives Nessik an adoring look before giving Garmon a bright and friendly smile.

Garmon comes bustling out of the backroom and tilts his head, "Well, hello there." he nods and smiles, "I am sure that you have lovely women who would look lovelier in my designs My Lord." He bows quietly and says, "Now then. How may I help you?" the older man moves to put out a few stools and says, "Please come sit, have a seat and make yourself comfortable."

Nessik grins when the man steps out, eyes twinkling merrily. "Of course you can have neither of them." He says and chuckles softly. Why? Cause he's claiming them at the moment of course! He grins and helps first Lady Yolette onto her own stool... or lets her wander the store, whichever she likes most, and then Mes oogly-eyes into hers, then finally he takes is own seat. He grins over at his lady aunt. "Well perhaps you can talk my Lady Aunt into something special, for she should certianly deserve something to accent those lovely cheeks and beautiful hair." Boy is he on a roll. "And this lovely Mes here... is interested in learning from you if you would be so kind as to assist such a pretty thing." He says and grins cheerfully. "And I seek a couple sets of swaddling clothes and baby packs. Something that would work for either boys or girls since we won't know what it is of course for several months down the road." *Firan*

Sairsha smiles brilliantly at Nessik first before offering a more muted version of the same to Garmon. "I would very much like to learn from someone that the Lord considers to be so legendary at this trade Mer. It would be an honour indeed."

Yolette's fair cheeks grow three shades rosier at the lavish compliments. She gives a small, girlish chuckle and turns her head to conceal her reaction. Apparently having no husband and living among the dour Hydra leaves one susceptible to such things, even for a woman of such an age. Well, look at that. A display case. How riveting.

Garmon chuckles and finds a seat for his old bones to sit on and stool. His eyes crinkle slightly as he says, "Well, aren't we just the busiest of bees today." He looks towards the Lady and says, "Well, I am sure that your Lady Aunt here would look quite FABULOUS in something deep golden to bring out her complexion." he moves to tilt his head towards the woman, "You do have a lovely glow about you My Lady." He turns towards Sairsha, "Well, I appreciate your compliments. I would be happy to take on a few lessons I believe. If you are free to come by the shop and do that sort of thing." he chuckles towards Nessik and says, "Well, My Lord I do get my fill of women at my home, as I have four daughters and a lovely wife, you may keep these for yourself, I will only clothe them in something FABULOUS, certainly."

Nessik grins brightly. "Well then!" He opens his mouth but decides not to mention his puky, dour, grumpy, swollied up wife since well, part of that'... er... MOST of that is all his fault. He winks at Sairsha. "See now there you are! All the lessons you can possibly stand from Anarinuell's finest tailor." He says and then looks back to Garmon. "So Mer..." Getting down to business, he smiles. "How much for two swaddling clothes and two packs then? Something sort of babyish cute, I suppose but fit for boy or girl." Though of COURSE it's going to be a boy.

Yolette looks a little surprised. "There was a time some years past that only a denizen of the Dove would wear such a color," she says to Garmon, but then adds in a conspiratorial whisper, "I once had a lovely sheer set made of it... for private." She flutters her lashes once and straightens. "However I fear it's navy for our house for the forseeable future." And the entire past, it seems, so weary is she of the shade. *Firan*

Nessik is so -glad- to be able to wear colors for once! Yay Iberiks. No dead peoples! He sighs softly as he looks over at his Lady Aunt. "Well perhaps something colorful for... when the mourning is lifted. Something bright and eyecatching that'll make you even more fetching than you already are." He grins and winks happily at her.

Garmon arches a brow, "Deep gold has become a beautiful color on all women. Not just for doves, and actually, My Lady, I have seem only to see women of the dove in reds and blacks for the most part." he nods his head towards her and says, "But of course, I think you might look quite nice in a navy set that has some flare." He chuckles, noticing the weariness of her expression and nods, "I think you can make navy be respectful and still be FABULOUS." He turns his head to Nessik and tilts his head, "Well, for the husband of such a delightful Lady, I would say that if she is blessed by the gods then perhaps I would charge but 30,000 stenis for 2 baby packs and 2 sets of swaddling clothes, if that is suitable."

Yolette nods agreement to Garmon, a longing expression appearing in her eyes briefly. "I couldn't bear to commission yet another mourning set," she says. "But if you care to create something FABULOUS in silk to your own creative tune I will keep it for whatever point in the future I may wear it." She smiles pleasantly.

Garmon nods his head towards Yolette and smiles, "Well, then of course..I wonder.." he clicks his tongue, reaching under the counter with a small twinkle in his eye, "Being the festival is just closing soon, and spring is upon us, perhaps something in a pretty green?" He holds up a silk swatch and moves to place it quietly close to her cheek, and says, "If I may of course." He nods his head at the color against her cheeks, in the air, not touching her of course, and smiles, "I think you would look lovely in green silks. With a flare of white or silver. Oh! Silver would look absolutely FABULOUS on you My lady."

Nessik grins brightly. "Oh she's blessed. She hasn't really started to show so much yet, but the poor little thing. Her ankles and wrists are all swolen up." He says and sighs softly, looking as if he feels terribly guilty. "I shall have to rub her ankles for her to make them ache less." He assures himself and the room at large and grins. "That's a wonderful price and a very fair one indeed. I think I can handle that quite well and she'll be...." Well... probably highly annoyed, most likely!

"A bit of ginger tea will calm her stomach," Yolette advises Nessik, smiling at his enthusiasm. "And see that she eats very small, frequent meals." The mother of nine ought to know a thing or two about managing pregnancy. She looks a the green silk and her brow furrows trying to imagine silver accents. "I understand gold has become quite fashionable of late," she comments to Garmon. "Please don't assume my earlier comment to restrain your creative impulse in any way. Truly, I will be pleased to see what you will create totally unfettered."

Nessik nods his head as he listens to Yolette. "How about bread? Would bread ease her stomach too? She hasn't been sick in a couple of days so I'm hoping perhaps that part is past us. Though she is only about... oh... in her third month, I think so I'm not sure." He says and shrugs slightly. "Ooh I think gold accents on that might be quite nice... though I'm no clothier of course."

And this is how Garmon works. He creates the most...unthinkable color palettes and out comes FABULOUSness. He smiles and settles the silk swatch and says, "Well, yes of course. I do believe that a deeper gold would bring out that glow of your face all the more, My Lady." he turns towards Nessik, "It would be most kind of you to do such a thing for her, she will surely appreciate it." He chuckles, "I know when my Oriana was blessed with her first child, she was sick for most of it, and just some tea or soft breads always seemed to soothe her. Of course, my wife was always craving things like seeds.." He chuckles, "Our kitchens were overflowing with them."

Nessik chuckles softly. "I don't know that I've had chance to be around when she got any... Oh... yes I think once lamb stew was an absolute -must- right then in the dead of night." he chuckles softly and shrugs his shoulders a bit.

Yolette nods agreement about the bread, and then about the seeds. "Lady Arika craved seeds for a while. I can't recall ever doing that. Fish seemed to be a special desire for many of my blessings." She seems now to have tired of the conversation about the outfit, saying only, "I trust in your skill, good mer, and look forward to the surprise when you present it to me. Do you require any materials or down payment?"

Garmon shakes his head, "Oh! No, My lady. I would not request that you provide any materials or a down payment, unless you wished to do. I have plenty of silk for the commission and of course, one more Lady to make lovelier in the sight of spring is the passion I will surely indulge in." He tilts his head towards Nessik and asks, "Do you have any themes or colors in mind for these items on your list, My Lord? Anything you wish to have specific or unique?"

Nessik hmms thoughtfully. "I think one set should definately be shades of green. My Lady will love that." He says and smiles. He thinks for a moment. "Perhaps white and grey and black for the other... or... Oh I don't know for the second set just surprise us, but I think definately one in shades of green. Though again something fit for both boy or girl. So I suppose a bit well..." Not feminine, not if he has a boy! EW! "Er... well you understand, I hope?" He thinks and looks over at Yolette. "Something specific or unique? What do you suggest, Lovely Lady Aunt?" *Firan*

Sairsha sighs softly as she brings herself out of her reverie and shifts her gaze from Nessik to Garmon. "That green sounds divine. I must say." she smiles at Garmon. "And I'm so terribly grateful to both you." and then to Nessik. "And you My Lord. For helping me with my craft like this." *Firan*

Nessik grins over at Sairsha. "OH the pleasure is quite mine, Mes. Quite mine indeed." He says and smiles. Though he does lean over and murmur quietly to Garmon. *Firan*

Nessik whispers "And I'll pay you 50,000 stenis for teaching the mes whatever she wants to know. I do appreciate the favor, Mer Garmon and I'll be coming in again soon to show my appreciation."

Yolette hms thoughtfully. "Greens and blues make a nice combination, could signify both your eye colors, and can easily be masculine and feminine," she says. "Although it is customary for children to primarily wear white, with colored accents." *Firan*

Nessik mms. "So then perhaps white with green and blue trim of some sort? And then something .... " He grins mishceviously. "Fabulous as a surprise?" He asks, looking over at Garmon?

Garmon is always the business man and when Nessik murmurs to him, he nods his head with green eyes siling quietly towards Sairsha, "It is my pleasure to take you under my instruction, I wonder, Mes, how much do you know of tailoring now?" He tilts his head, "I like to assess the amount of knowledge I am starting with." He does give Yolette a nod and says, "Yes, young noble children spend most of their days in white, as white is the most innocent of colors, and pristine to be presumed." He gives the Lady a smile and says, "I wouldn't think of putting such a baby of status in anything but white, unless specified."

Sairsha gives Garmon a modest smile. "Oh I'm an expert in my own right Mer but when dealing with the Nobility" her eyes drift back to Nessik. "one can never be skilled enough. I hate to dress Nobles in anything but the finest of outfits and yet I fear that my work with silk is not yet up to that standard."

Yolette smiles briefly, propriety policework performed. She falls silent and just watches the exchange.

Nessik smiles and nods his head, glancing over at Sairsha with a smile. See he had a wonderful idea bringing her here. She's going to be forever endebted to him. Bwahahaha! He smiles and just patiently waits while she deals with the tailor.

Garmon nods his head and says, "Well, I suppose you know the basics of silk cloth then, Mes? Perhaps you need to fine tune that skill...though?" He seems to say this in such a manner as if..perhaps he is the only tailor in the city who can really deal with silk appropriately. "I would be pleased to set up lessons with you, if you wish." he nods his head and says, "I am free most of the days if my daughters are not asking me to make them new pretties or clothing of course."

Yolette chuckles a little watching Nessik, having seen similar scenes replayed countless times over with as many sons as she has. But whatever she might think about it is kept to herself. She traces her fingertips over one of the garments on display, just to enjoy the smoothness of the silk.

Sairsha beams at Garmon. "It sounds like a wonderful relationship in the making Mer Garmon. I'm so pleased I could make your acquaintance. I do hope you don't mind teaching a woman that intends to run her own clothing shop?" she chuckles. "But then why would you? There are plenty of customers to go around and you are well established." she smiles brightly at Nessik. "I do so hope to get a shop at some point but never mind how many times I ask around, despite my having the funds for it, nobody seems to be renting a place."

Nessik smiles to Sairsha. "Oh well perhaps you simply haven't been asking the right people, Mes." He says and winks at her, then glances over at his lady aunt who's gone all hushy quiet over there. *Firan*

Yolette looks up at the opening of the door and smiles to see Arika entereing. "Lady daughter," she greets, inclining her head. "You are radiant today."

Garmon chuckles, his eyes crinkle in amusement, "I have had this establishment for some time, I am not at all concerned with anyone who wants to better their skills. Who will be the tailors of tomorrow when Unot takes me, if I do not teach my knowledge and technique." He smiles and says, "I am sure that we will have a fine time." He notices another lady coming into the shop and bows, "My Lady, may I help you with anything, please do let me know." *Firan*

Arika spies her mother through the window and makes her way into the shop, waddling slowly. She approaches Yolette and nods to her, then looks to Nessik and smiles to him, "Lord Nessik, it has been far to long." She says and then nods to Yolette, "Thank you Lady Mother."
