The Bears and Chimerans finally brokered a peace, seeing as there was more going on than what first appeared to be and that Draugik was likely the source of their tensions.
The republic as a whole rose up against Draugik, long suspecting him of being a double agent but finally having the proof in his treachery with his ties to the Shamibelians . It was even suspected he had a hand in the deaths of Akinita and Sabinus as part of his bid for power. A note was found, which when translated from Shamibelian read 'Flight Leader, Your task is to keep the Firans who have not aligned with the Ranivor distracted until the Hydran medallion is secured. I will give you the locations later to eliminate the heirs for another attack. As was agreed with Governor Fudathim for my pardon, I will kill Ranivor Vahlgellan when the time is right. While they are demoralized and distracted, the Firans will be easy to crush.'
The Clan Council called for Vahlgellan to come before them and explain his role in this. Despite Draugik's involvement, many of the Firan cities began calling for Valgellan to return and restore order. Like Elianos, he seemed to be the only one who could hold the leash of the haffie general.
