AJILA KENIRAN

A dancer, a clothier, and a skilled thrower of knives, Ajila Keniran was a devoted member of the Chimera Clan. She lost her husband Uvilonar to the war campaign of 21 A.U., leaving her alone with their three children, their adopted daughters Kalori and Nica, and their own daughter Veliana. The independent young widow continued on, but less than three years later, in the air raid of 24 A.U., she sacrificed herself in a (successful) attempt to save the life of the then clan leader, Akinita. Although she was taken as a slave by the Shamibelians as a result, that was not the last the Firans saw of Ajila. She was returned to the Firans in April 24 A.U., quite dead and completely drained of blood. This grisly turn of events had one positive result -- Ajila had a proper Firan funeral.
