AKINITA RISSIK

Born May 25, 17 B.U. Akinita Rissik was given the honor of becoming Clan Leader for the Chimera Clan when Elianos became Ranivor for the Republic. A strong woman, she was considered to be 'neo-noble' by many, even though the Rissiks had long served Elianos with loyalty. Akinita was daughter to the famous Riss who served under Elianos and her husband was one of the Heroes, whom she would not see again before her untimely death in January 25 A.U.

Lady Akinita Rissik was a charming, efficient, proud lady of the Chimera Clan. Not one to preach what she did not practice; she trained with her clan's army and made sure all her children were skilled warriors. A lady more likely to reward someone who succeeded by their own wit, she was married to Garen, the hero archer and woodsman who seemed intent on saving the world.

In fact, Lady Akinita Rissik would not live to see her husband's return from Vreland where he and the other heroes had gone to show the Vrelanders how to protect themselves from the Shamibelians. This need to save the world is what would ultimately bring the Rissik family to ruin; Lady Akinita would pay for the crimes of her son Sabinus. Leading the Chimera Clan through difficult times, the Rissiks were closely tied to the Elianik Family; Eliana married Prince Vahlgellan who became Ranivor in his father's absence (and was later deposed by the Alliance) and Akinita became best friends with Princess Selene. The Rissik family was accused of being instrumental in starting the war between the Gold Dragons and the Bears, the blame laying squarely on the shoulders of Akinita's youngest son, Sabinus in his position on the religious council.

Akinita and Sabinus were executed as traitors on January 10th, 25 A.U.
