Overview
Anarios in many ways personifies the Eagle Clan's way of life. He has a keen appreciation for the finer things in life, be they wines, clothing, or simple freedoms. He is friendly with most anybody (with especially quick grins for beautiful women) and enjoys dancing, singing, and playing his rather oddly shaped harp.
Early History
Anarios is the only child of Riyad and Adina Apellon. He spent his early childhood primarily living with his mother, but as it became more important for him to learn about the workings of the Soaring Eagle he moved in with his father. As a child Anarios got into a fair amount of trouble without ever committing any serious crimes. He declared himself a brewer and a Kamnestran at his Ceremony of Souls and has brewed and bar-tended at the Soaring Eagle since then. As an adult he had a short stint running gambling tables at the now defunct Gentlemen's Club. He then returned to brewing and had several ill-fated romances before marrying Nestra.
Recent History
During the recent democratic revolutionary actions, Anarios has been a quiet supporter to his wife's active politicking including making a temporary migration to Lurashar. He has since returned and is supposedly working on something that he only refers to as a 'project.'
Personality & Beliefs
Equal parts rogue and gentleman, Anarios has the sort of hedonistic attitude that could get him into a lot of trouble. He has a generally welcoming attitude befitting of a bartender and will sing drunkenly at a moments notice. Any time a party is mentioned he tries to arrange things so he can attend and even while married with two children he is still quick to flirt with a pretty woman. Despite this, he takes his work seriously and is known to spend days doing little bit work in the brewery on what he seems to be constantly insisting will be what everyone will be drinking.

Anarios is an only child.
Marriage
Anarios knew that he was going to have to get married someday. After all, as the only child he needs to keep the Apellon name going. But he certainly didn't expect to get married to the gladiatrix Nestra. Despite the circumstances of the marriage, Anarios has become quite happy in it. He worries for his now armless wife, but as the democracy movement dies down he has what he wanted. A wife with an open mind, a couple of kids, and the continuation of the Apellon name.
Children
Zinarios- Zinarios is Anarios and Nestra's first son and came as a great relief for the brewer. But then he cried. And he cried. And he cried. Anarios loves his son and hopes that he will succeed, but is slightly concerned that he'll lack the sort of natural charisma necessary to run a bar. And then there's his eccentricities. He is determined to get the boy to stop calling him Mama, but has gotten used to referring to Zinarios as Fish. He'd be willing to call him most anything if it'll get him to stop crying.
Pani- Pani is Anarios' plan for the future. He's the more charismatic of the two and though Anarios does his best to hide it, he enjoys Pani's company more. But then, who can blame him? Pani smiles, laughs, and is actually nice to people! And calls him Dada! Anarios is confident that Pani will be the one to take over the Soaring Eagle. Even if he is a strange little bird.
Accomplishments & Successes
Brewer- Anarios has become one of the better brewers in the city and has continued the tradition for fine Apellon Brews.
Scandals & Failures
Engaging the Enemy- Anarios once came very, very, very close to marrying a Hydra in AU 41. As in 'standing at the altar with a priest' close. He and Mes Zutriana Jaldrish had planned on getting married with her becoming an Eagle. The marriage was interrupted by Lord Rodiste N'Gato and a whole mess of scandal following. To make a long story short, he remained a bachelor and was banned from the Hydra district (presumably) for life.
Democraziness- With Anarios' wife practically running the Democracy of 46 AU, he was caught up in it. Although he gained some social power through this, he also lost some respectability. And the Gods know he needs as much respectability as he can hold together.
Enemies
The Hydra Clan- Anarios is currently banned from the Hydra Clan District. And although this is more of a bragging point than a problem for him, he's still not a big fan. Eagle Power!
Teni Dilarik- Teni and Anarios have hated each other since childhood. Anarios will claim that this is because Teni has a tamir stick pushed so far up his arse that he chokes on it when he coughs. Teni is too conservative, too boring, too full of himself, and always seems to show up when Anarios is putting moves on a pretty young mes. Or when he's escorting a whore. Or when he can barely stand up. Anarios blames Teni for this.

Logs & Famous Speeches
Zaridos 4 Substitute Clan Leader- Near the end of the Democracy hullabaloo, Anarios gave a short speech suggesting Prince Zaridos Elianik take over Rislan The Butcher's position. The speech was taken fairly well, but nothing came of it.
