ANTONIA GARKANSEN

Centurion Antonia Garkansen was born in the year 5 A.U. to Ambrose and Simma Garkansen. Despite being raised by such a proper family, Antonia led a very dramatic life. The jeweler was kicked out of her family for the duration of over a year for shaming them and having an illicit affair with Lord Philander Ista Aldrik shortly before he was executed for treason in 24 A.U. It was also around this time that she was very nearly poisoned to death. Antonia managed to turn her life around however, and was soon allowed to return to her family. She married Ronti in 25 A.U., and the couple adopted three children. She rose to the ranks of centurion for the city watch as a forensics specialist. It was in this line of duty that she was killed, responding with the city guard to fight an infestation of lions which plagued the city of Anarinuell in 28 A.U. She is remembered by many as a hero who laid down her life to protect others.
