Overview

Antonik is the son of Antonius and Inea Marcus. Inea died when he was born, so he was left with his father and brothers. His father is infamous as the ring leader for the Antonian Apostasy. His family name was removed from Firan record and their possessions seized. Antonik went from place to place, literally he was a wanderer. He buried his sorrows in women and booze. Antonik had no hope for a bright future as he would have people spit on him and even go so far as to throw rotten food at him. He is boo'd and hiss'd half the time when he walks into the market area.

Recently, Antonik returned to the city to forge a new life for himself. He has sobered himself up with his faith in Lady Eesha and promised to himself that he would never become the man he was before he left the city. He has broken the hearts of a few women in the city since his return, but mostly it wasn't due to his attentions to them, mainly theirs to him. He is serving as an Initiate of Eesha and helping them to bring the Lady back to them. He is working as a leatherworker and retained a contract to sell his goods in a few shops.

He has set the following goals for himself:

• Set out to become a legendary leatherworker, it will take time!
• Forge stronger bonds, even among those who his father hurt through his treasonous acts.
• Live a better and upstanding life: he still drinks, but he is now a one woman man, no more womanizing.

Recent History

• Fighting for his identity within the Chimera Clan amidst the changes in government.
• Finds himself questioning the very leadership of a clan in which he belongs.
• Has withdrawn from society back in his apartment working on leather, perhaps this is a sign something is amidst.

Personality and Beliefs

Antonik is not the typical Eeshan. He does not imbibe in heavy liquor, he doesn't carouse with women. He keeps himself tucked away in his own world. One moment he can be the life of the party and the next moment hunkered down in his apartment or work room with his leather or artwork. He has a zest for life and an upbeat attitude no matter what seems to happen to him. At times, his charm and charisma can be taken by the opposite sex in a wrong way. He is extremely soft hearted, he loves to see people happy and hates to see them hurting. He goes out of his way at times to make another person smile-- this at times can be annoying to others depending upon their own moods or situations. He has is very devoted and faithful to the Lady Eesha, only wishing to serve her to the best of his ability.

Antonik gets bored easily, so he always seems to have some task at hand to help clear his boredom. He is known to carry his artisan tools with him along with a few scrolls so that he can jot ideas down or sketch something nearby him. Admittedly, he does love women. He at times loves to sketch their curves and faces to perfection, even if his art talent is mediocre. He has a deep satisfaction with life and tries to take things one day at a time. He loves to help people, but sometimes his motivation is for his own self interest in furthering his reputation-- this stems from the constant need for approval from his father in the past. He does things so that others will approve of him. He thinks that everyone in the city deserves happiness and he hates to see others unhappy. He really feels like if they would get up and become assertive they could be happy. He comes up with ideas at times that he feels are very brilliant, yet in the end they turn out not to be. He just shrugs and figures it is the thought that counts.

Personal Relationships

Parents

Mer Antonius (Dead) Antonik's infamous father, he was convicted of treason and executed summarily. The Marcus family was disbanded and their possessions confiscated by the Republic. Antonik and his brothers were granted quarter.

Mes Inea Marcus (Dead) Antonik's mother. She died giving birth to him, so he has oft wondered about her and what she was like. It was known that she was a follower of Lady Kamnestra and a well renowned pottery crafter.

Siblings

Mer Kamnester Antonik's older brother. He is adopted into the family, but that doesn't matter to Antonik. The two rarely talk due to his mother's death. Antonik hopes to have a relationship with his brother if the Gods allow it so.

Sentry Judas Antonik's biological brother. The two are close and he looks up to his brother.

Mer Brennus Marcus (Dead) Antonik's adoptive brother, but brother just the same. He misses his brother because they were close, he died during the war in Ellish.

Marriage

Mes Lurasetta Kenirugrik of the Hydra Clan (Divorced) Antonik and Setta met while his family was running a shop in the Palace District. It took them a while, but they married. The marriage proved to be short lived. She is mother of Antonik's daughter Ariadne. Setta moved off to the Hydra District and is now remarried to a Mer Elachi.

Mes Kalina (Married) Antonik met Mes Kalina after a hunting accident. The two have been courting for quite some time. They have plans to marry during the Spring Festival.

Children

Ariadne Lurasetta moved off to the Hydra District he didn't fight the move nor attempt to see his daughter. Questions do surround whether this is truly his child, but they were married when she was born.

Kalarik A small little baby boy that has his mother's hair and his father's good looks. He is a strong little mer, Antonik loves his son.

Kinea A two year old little girl that he and Kalina adopted from the Temple of Kamnestra. He loves little Kinea, named for his mother Inea. She is little and fun to play with.

Judik A second son born to Antonik. He loves Judik, it is like looking down at himself. He has a loud mouth though like his Uncle Judas.

Allies

Lord Viceroy Taleo Teranzik Taleo granted Antonik quarter opposed to death during the Antonian Apostasy. He is deeply indebted to Taleo for life.	Lady Proxy Petrina Ista Aldrik Petrina is Antonik's sponsor and a very lovely lady. Antonik thinks a lot of her and hopes to start up a friendship with her again.	Lord Nessik Iberik (Sponsor) Lord Nessik became Antonik's sponsor after Lady Petrina left the city. Antonik really respects Lord Nessik due to his position and his ability to come up with plans or activities spontaneously. The two could be termed as friends.
Mes Ziya Ziya married to Kamnester and Antonik's sister in law. She has been like true family to him since the Apostasy and appreciates her golden heart. He holds her in high regard.	Mer Quintus Verber Quintus is a mer that Antonik has been hunting with. He was injured by being bitten by mean rabbits. Antonik likes this mer and thinks he is a little bit of a wuss, but despite it a good mer for good company.	Lord Nessik Iberik Lord Nessik became Antonik's sponsor after Lady Petrina left the city. Antonik really respects Lord Nessik due to his position and his ability to come up with plans or activities spontaneously. The two could be termed as friends.	Mer Sharin Rissik Mer Sharin is a member of the Rissik family, a person whose family was hurt by the apostasy. It appears that the two could become friends.

Enemies

• Ladonna Harror - This woman is a thorn in Antonik's side. The two have been at odds with one another since Antonik refused to affiliate with her before the Antonian Apostasy. Even though he is Eeshan, it is hard not to harbor bad feelings towards this woman.

Scandals

Antonian Apostasy

Antonius Marcus was found guilty of a plot to attempt to overthrow the leadership of the Republic. He met secretly with his conspirators late at night in his library. He and a slew of those conspirators were found guilty of treason and immediately put to death. The Marcus family found their name absolved from them and all their possessions siezed by the Republic. Antonik and his two brothers, Kamnester and Judas were given the option of quarter and accepted it. Most of the other families invovled had similiar remedies happen to them as well, the Rissiks were denobled and others were renamed.
Many people were harmed by the treasonous actions of Antonik's father. Just having Antonius's blood coarsing through his veins is a scandal nowadays, many still have that on their minds. This scandal rocked Antonik's life in ways that many would never understand. He has hopes that one day he can raise above this.

Divorce

Antonik's divorce from Lurasetta was an emotionally exhausting one. It was bitter and very sad. He had to give up his daughter Ariadne. He felt that she was far better off without him. Lurasetta moved off to the Hydra District and her new husband forbid Antonik from ever contacting them. So far, he has abided by what was asked of him.
