Personality

Arika N'Gato is a beautiful woman, born to a life of privilege - and she knows this quite well. Her quiet nature served to sharpen her abilities of observation and perception. As the only daughter of the house for her first nine years, her parents' doting created a somewhat selfish perspective in which she simply assumes that her whims will be met - and owing to her natural charm and compelling demeanor, they almost always are, sooner or later. Beneath the surface lurks her mother's temper, slow to rile but deadly fast once engaged. She loathes weakness in people, whether it be physical or emotional, and often targets them when the mood strikes her for it. Knowing a person's weakness is like having a key to them. All one needs to do is then turn it to get what they want.

• Lady Yolette N'Gato -- Arika has a very close relationship with her mother. While Yolette isn't always the epitome of a perfect Hydran woman, Arika admires the more passionate sides of her mother and is grateful to see that side of her - which Yolette only shows in strict privacy, of course. Her mother was very involved in Arika's teachings and tried to make them as fun as they could be for her daughter. Arika will forever be grateful for that.
• Lord Rodellos N'Gato -- Arika was always the apple of Rodellos' eye. They had a special bond that she treasured a great deal. He often took her out to the country where she could play and chatter away more freely than she was able to at the estate and, when they were in Arinzi, even the to see the shore. During all the chaos of 33 A.U., however, he disappeared. Some said he was kidnapped that April, along with her mother, while others claimed he willingly left to turn the Hydra Clan Medallion over to Prince Vahgellan. All Arika knows for sure is that her mother was returned and her father was not. Arika misses him terribly. 6 years later, Lord Brother Rodiste and Lord Uncle Katarus would lead a search and rescue team to go find Rodellos in the Caldera City. They returned several months later amidst much controversy and with a horrid tale about the death of Rodellos. Arika still can't bear to hear the entire tale from Rodiste to this day as it hurts her very much to think that her father finally met his doom far away from home.

Marriage

Lady Arika may have married Lord Daemio recently-like. The jury is still out on whether or not the two are officially married, though it's said that Arika is officially a member of the Griffon clan now and she has taken up residence at the Sennet Manor. Sure sounds like they're married!

Children

• Lady Basina N'Gato -- Lady Basina is Adan and Arika's first daughter, born April 11, 40 A.U. Both Arika and Basina came through the birth extremely well, and Basina is a very large, very strong, and very healthy little girl. She is named after Adan's mother, Bashona, and he says Basina is his mother's spitting image. According to the terms of Adan's marriage contract, Basina is to become a Cockatrice on her Ceremony of Souls, and join the Cockatrice as a royal IstaNydiam. Originally it was supposed to be as an IstaBannos, Adan's name, but that has apparently changed as there are no more IstaBannoi in the Republic.
• Lord Bannek N'Gato -- Born March 2, 41 A.U., Bannek is Adan and Arika's second child and first son. A small boy with red hair and blue eyes, he is named after Adan's grandfather Bannos. The two couldn't have been happier with their son. It, after all, makes Adan a True Warrior in the eyes of the Hydra clan. This fact is null and void however, considering that Adan will never be a True Warrior to anyone.
• Lord Ieranthis Sennet -- Born in 46 A.U., this huge child would be a great disappointment for Arika, if not for the fact that he's such a joy for the Sennet family. Arika really isn't sure how to feel about her son yet, though she is naturally somewhat protective.

Scandals & Failures

• Failed marriage & ruination by Lord Adan -- This is so infamous by now, do you really need details? Lord Adan fell in love with Yassamin and effectively ruined Lady Arika. He is forever known now as The Defiler within the Hydran clan.

• Marriage to Lord Daemio -- Are they or aren't they? There seems to be a debate between the Griffon and Hydran clans at the moment about the validity of the marriage between Lady Arika and Lord Daemio.

Enemies

• The Defiler -- That was a given, come on!
• Yassamin -- Or 'The Whore' as Arika calls her. She sent 'Lady' Yassamin a set of throwing vases as an ironic wedding gift. They must have come in handy, because she's heard that the harlot and the Defiler have since divorced.
