Background

The Aurik family is most notable for being the Gold Dragon half of the great family feud. These days the feud seems more tame, especially after Baristano became Lord Baristano of the Manosik Family. The family has attempted to find some of their 'noble roots' and have been pushing family colors of Cyan and Black.

Scandals

Family Feud

During the Great War, the Aurik family went off to fight against the Shamibelians, and their lands were seized by a Shamibelian "lord". The Istariniad Family stayed behind and ended up captured by the Shamibelians, who put their newly acquired slaves to work on the seized Aurik farmlands. This started a Family feud which has at times almost lead to a clan war.

Gold Dragon Civil War

The Auriks were stripped of their land and claim to nobility in 20 A.U. when Anikos and his brother Sett both were punished with a traitor's mark for their involvement in a Gold Dragon Civil War.

Market Massacre

Sir Commander Anikos Aurik was killed in the Market Massacre in 33 A.U.

Antonian Apostasy

Firuell Aurik was put to death and his wife Winia was banished after being arrested on the March 22nd 39 AU Dawn Raids for Firuell's involvement in the Antonian Apostasy.
