BAHLOS

Mer Bahlos was born in the Cockatrice Clan and was 38 years old at his death. His first marriage was to Mes Shaska which ended in divorce after he publicly beat his wife. As Bahlos was charged with attempted murder, Bannos ordered the divorce and sentenced him to a four year military conscription in the Second Division as a sentry. As a successful miner, he later met and married Mes Fillipa Ishartano and joined the Eagle Clan. After Fillipa died in childbirth with their second daughter, the miner broke from the Ishartano family, and eventually married Jeronika Jaffus which gave him a way into the Jaffus family. Bahlos accused Jeronika publically of whorish behavior which angered Lord Yaffros Iberik, her sponsor. He challenged the Lord to a drinking contest with Lord Yaffros championed by a haffie, Mer Beyzo. Bahlos lost the challenge and death was administered in an unusual fashion. On October 2, 30 A.U. Mer Bahlos was strapped to a ballista bolt and sent hurling into the west gate of the Eagle District. Mer Bahlos is survived by three daughters: Shalila, Shayla and Ashanti.
