Banik goes fishing with...Daldrika?!

Summary: For some reason, Daldrika is in Sarkaran at the start of night, and wanders across Banik, who is fishing - do we know how to say, 'What the?!'

Sarkaran: The Docks

Daldrika is walking quietly through the brisk night, bundled up in the dark fur.

Banik is fishing off the pier quietly, a bright smile on his muddy face.

Daldrika spots the boy and frowns lightly, although the movement is lost in her hood. She starts towards him and says quietly, hunching her shoulders a bit to decrease her height, "Young man.. what are you doing out so late?" {Excellent Firan}

Banik grins at you and says, "I'm fishing! I want to provide for my family, so they can see how mature I am and let me lead a navy." {Firan}

Daldrika chuckles softly and says, "Do you catch much?" {Excellent Firan}

Banik nods eagerly. "Yes, mes. I catch a lot of fish. Zin is my friend." {Firan}

Daldrika settles down lightly by the boys side and says, "It is a good thing indeed to have the friendship of a God.. " {Firan}

Banik smiles widely. "I am going to be his greatest adventurer. You'll see." {Firan}

Daldrika nods her head and says, "I am sure you will.. especially as Zin is your friend." her tone is not condescending despite her words, merely thoughtful, then she says, "Do you think perhaps I can be a great adventurer too?" her words musing, "Or since I am not Zin's good friend, I am just going to be an ordinary adventurer?" {Firan}

Banik muses and says, "Well, if you are my friend you can be a great advneturer too.....I'll bet Zin would love it. Every adventuer needs a party, after all." {Firan}

Daldrika chuckles softly and says, "I would like that.. what would I do?" {Excellent Firan}

Banik hrms softly. "Zin will tell me soon what my adventure will be, and then I can tell you. I asked him just the other night. I'm trying to woo someone." {Firan}

Daldrika inquires, "May I ask whom?" {Firan}

Banik grins boyishly. "Lady Zeysani. She is beautiful, and very nice, and her clan has a navy, while mine doesn't. Father said he would arrange the marriage, but not to tell anyone." {Excellent Firan}

Daldrika chuckles softly and says, "All good points.. who is your father? And who are you?" {Excellent Firan}

Banik grins. "my father is Bannos Istabannos, and I'm Banik. Who are you?" {Firan}

Daldrika bows her head, "I am Parmakosa, my lord." {Firan}

Banik grins. "Hello Parmakosa." {Excellent Firan}

Daldrika inclines her head again, "do you enjoy fishing, my lord?" {Excellent Firan}

Banik nods emphaticallu.

Daldrika chuckles softly and says, "I fished once.. captured a catfish of some type." {Firan}

Banik grins and says, "I catch all kinds, really. Even oysters and trout." {Excellent Firan}

Daldrika smiles, the movement hardly seen in the shadows of night, but still there, "Do the oysters have pearls in them? I have often wondered that.. I have never seen it." {Excellent Firan}

Banik says quietly, "I don't know. I haven't ever seen a pearl from an oyster." {Firan}

Daldrika nods her head, "That is where they are supposed to come from.. inside of an oyster.. perhaps Zin puts them there as a reward for people who capture the oyster?" {Firan}

Banik hmms. "I'll have to see..." {Excellent Firan}

Daldrika nods her head.

Banik fishes a while and then finally says, "I'll be back tomorrow, Parmakosa. Will you fish with me then?" {Firan}

Daldrika sighs softly and says, "Still, you should not be out here at night.. even if you are fishing.." she chuckles, "Of course I will, my lord." {Firan}

Banik smiles and bows, gathering his things. "Good night, Parmakosa." {Firan}

Daldrika bows her head faintly, still sitting, "Have a safe evening, Lord Banik." {Firan}

Banik smiles.

Banik jumps on the boat and is ferried across the river.
