LADY BASHONA ISTABANNOS

It was a sad day that saw the announcement of Lady Bashona Istabannos' death. The noblewoman of the Cockatrice Clan, younger sister to Lady Proxy Ibania and Lord Banik, had been born on October 24 of the year 3 A.U. She was renowned for her unusual beauty, truly a delicate flower of fragile appearance with a none too robust health. Her demeanor was shy and friendly, in a very refreshing manner. Regardless of her shyness, she was quick to assume responsibilities when needed and capably served as Proxy for her father Clan Leader Bannos when he departed for Vreland along with the other Heroes.

Though her life was a short one, her love life proved to be interesting and rather complicated. Wed to Lord Aldrikos Ista Aldrik, he went off shortly after the wedding and was eventually presumed dead. A son was the result of this marriage, Rikon, born in 19 A.U. Lady Bashona then moved on to marry Prince Sadin Elianik, bearing his son Adan in 21 A.U. By that time Lord Aldrikos had rather surprisingly returned from Vreland, and priests declared the marriage to Prince Sadin annulled. After Lady Bashona divorced Lord Aldrikos she did not re-marry Prince Sadin however. Her next marriage was not to be until Lord Trikon Ista Barun managed to purchase a Spring Festival Marriage Prize off a pentathlon Winner in Spring 23 A.U., choosing Lady Bashona as his somewhat unwilling wife, if one believes the rumors. The Cockatrice Clan was joyous to see their Lady married again. In early 24 A.U. Lady Bashona and her two sons Rikon and Adan disappeared without a trace, shortly before the Shamibelian Air Raid began, a time of turmoil. Investigations that were aided by Lord Proxy Sabinus Rissik finally determined the cause of their disappearance. In October of 24 A.U. the Chimeran Lord announced that the convicted Drikkist Mer Sayam Kirdik had boasted of how he had kidnapped them, sacrificing their hearts to lend further strength to the dark God and his Shamibelian forces.
