Basic Geography

The game world on Firan is absolutely huge, and this can be very daunting when a person first gets started -- everyone needs help Getting Around when they first start out. The first thing to remember is that the city of Anarinuell is basically a bunch of square clan districts, oriented around a central square Palace District. The Palace District is where most everything happens in the game. Located here is the Forum and the Baths, the center of the world RP-wise. If you know how to get to the Forum from where you are, you can get just about anywhere. See 'news directions' and 'help map' for more detailed instructions. If you get truly lost, you can ask on the Public or Help channels for assitance.

For out-of-city geography, Firan has its very own webpage of Maps that show not only the city of Anarinuell, but the entire Firan Republic and the major cities as well! For reference, the Shamibelians live (and invade from) the southeast, past Ellish; the Ticanee are originally from south of the Cockatrice lands, past the mountains (now under Shamibelian control); the Bonduins live on the plains somewhere beyond that. Aerval is a very big world.
