Lady Nalia has announced another ceremony of souls will be held after the festival. @mail Nalia if you want to be included!
Unrest in Scirlut continues, with the Viceroy now having claimed the city as Republic territory, and Prince Sadin and Lady Leyla dispatched as envoys to try to quell the violence. Other citizens of Anarinuell, Lord Kamen chief among them, seem more interested in fanning the flames. There are even rumors of trouble in Nelabam, with ex-Cockatrice citizens chafing against Bear rule.
The festival is in full swing. Captain Derik Leafchaser has won the physical pentathlon, and Lady Riette Didoron won the social pentathlon - in which our own Lady Xamori came in third. The final Pentathlon, the 50/50 pent, will be hosted by Lady Proxy Fidelia and Lady Akiva on Sunday, Nov 20th, at 9pm EST.
Mes Odoni and Mer Artsenik have been blessed with a new daughter, who is named Kamnaria.
Lady Nevra has renounced her title and is now Mes Nevra, and for love of a commoner, Derik Leafchaser. Scandal ensues!
Mer Aeron, a weapon/armorsmith and jeweler, and Mes Lorilia, a tailor and leatherworker, both of the Bear clan, are engaged to be married.

With festival going on, it helps things run smoothly if we all remove our old posts from the @bb and @cal and @republic and other such systems, after they are no longer useful or relevant.
Your factionhead apologized profusely for not being around of late and for missing the last two newsletters. Between illness of a household member, election work, and my own illness I have been slammed lately. I promise it will get better!

Lady Xamori, for placing third in a pentathlon and reminding everyone how proper Bears know how to behave - and compete. AND for being a festival coordinator!
Lord Viceroy Taleo, for keeping his cool as always and sending envoys to deal with the Scirlut situation before things get out of hand.
Lady Nyla, for being named one of the coordinators of the child's festival.
Lady Proxy Fidelia, for being a great and wise and wonderful proxy, and hosting a pentathlon with Lady Akiva (praise her too!)
Diss:
Nevra, for renouncing the noble title that she renounced her Bear clan citizenship to keep.
Lord Kamen, for stirring up political trouble - and him a neo!
