Beyzo
From FiranMUX
Overview
BEYZO
Beyzo, formerly of the family Kiriakos, was an intimidating haffie who liked to keep himself in a frighteningly athletic shape; he was especially known for the huge horns atop his head that were sharpened to points. Most remember him being a terrifying fellow and generally, when he spoke to people, they tried to keep on his good side. At least in front of him.
But that wasn't always so. At one time, the man was even sponsored by Clan Leader Jalil Firgalik. He loved seducing Firan women -- especially the upper class -- but did not keep a family or a steady woman. He was once a hailed Olympian and gladiator, showing up to many events such as battle royales and sword competitions to show off his god-given talents. For his incredible strength, he was hailed as "The Bull."
Beyzo retreated into the Old City for good when the anti-haffie sentiments arose after Clan Leader Zeysani's death (see news zeysani on the game for more info). For a little while he tried to take up Narin's place as the Old City boss, only to be sorely reminded of his heritage, even by the rejected peasants that inhabited this area. So, Beyzo instead settled in for a quiet life that was mostly out of the public eye -- until 38 A.U., at least.
Little is known of Beyzo's deeds in the Old City, but what is certain is that one day, a warrant was put out for him under suspicion of the death of an ex-sponsoree of then-Prince Torianos. His Highness himself went after the man, staged undercover arrests, and tried to get the haffie to face justice. Beyzo ran, but eventually Torianos caught him and brought him to the Republic jail (which was firebombed and Beyzo nearly escaped, but the Prince ensured, along with the guard, that such did not happen). Beyzo was convicted of murdering Mer Machi and of selling Firans to slavery. He was also convicted of soul-death for canaled murders -- though they went unnamed. He was sentenced to death by torture in 38 A.U. and it was carried out in 39 A.U. Stripped of the Kiriakos name, he leaves no known surviving family.
