CASSIO FIRABI

Known for generous and gentle manner, not a common character trait in a profession rife with zealots, Cassio Firabi was a devout monotheist priest. The son of a priest, Cassio was born in Anish in poverty. He accompanied his sister Quiranda and brother Yathro when they were sent to Anarinuell to live with their much wealthier Firabi relations in the city. Cassio saw this as an opportunity to bring the message of Zutiv's glory to a wider audience. However, the charming priest's devotion to his temple was to be his own undoing. To protest what he felt was unlawful imprisonment of High Priest Rasmus, he spearheaded a rebellion against the Gold Dragon throne by attempting to call on devout monotheists to revolt against the Firgaliks. Those that knew the young priest were shocked at his behaviour, believing he must have gone a little mad to do something so out of character with his previous life. However, there was nothing to be done. When the rebellion was subdued, Lady Leyla, the Gold Dragon Proxy, found him guilty of treason and had him hanged in May of 21 A.U. Cassio was but seventeen years of age.
