Chargen Deals

Since a number of questions have come up regarding chargen deals, here are some general clarifications:

  • The 2 for 1 deal can consist of either 2 Bears, 2 GDs, or a Bear and a GD, of either gender. The 3 for 1 is good only for 3 male Bears.
  • This deal is open to all child objects of the appropriate clans, aged 8 or older. If they're adult-aged, that's fine. If you have, for some reason, a NPC family member that is not an object but is mentioned on your sheet, they may qualify on a case-by-base basis. @request to my attention to find out. No making up random Bears and GDs, though. :)
  • You do not have to be related to a child to @request their chargen. However, if they have unrostered family members, it's polite to check with them first (especially since they might have information you don't have access to, or have already @requested their chargen).
  • Anyone may contribute CP toward a chargen. Just make sure who the CPs is coming from is clearly indicated on your @request.
  • It makes our lives a lot, lot, lot easier if you put both chargens on a 2 for 1 in the same @request.
  • This deal is NOT retroactive. Sorry -- it would be a very big headache to make it so.
  • There is no set end date to this -- it ends when I think the PC balances by clan have been fixed. However, it's better to get them in soon!
  • Yes, child objects that have been @childretired can be chargenned. @childretirement does not ever disqualify a child from being chargenned, but does give them a potentially more interesting backstory.

  • Also, Old City chargens are a 2 for 1 deal. Clan does not matter as long as they will be a part of the Old City.
