THE STATE OF ELLISH
The Third Division reports that things are almost eerily quiet in Ellish. Very few Shamibelian warriors were captured alive. Even fewer Shamibelian women. But there are some. And of course, slaves of many nationalities abound. In the immediate aftermath, some of the slaves toppled a statue of Fudathim and mysteriously, the Firan soldiers had an artist on hand to paint the scene. Now, the Firan army must celebrate, because they have clearly been greeted as liberators and have brought complete, lasting peace to an enslaved people! Meanwhile, the search for firebombs continues in the city of Ellish. Shamibelian soldiers have abandoned all the outposts on the Firan side of the border, but outside Ellish they retain several aviaries and watchposts. There is a small demilitarized zone but the Third Division is only capable of holding, not pursuing, so for now, they shout taunts over the border.
LORD HIGH GENERAL DONOS ISTA ALDRIK
Lord High Priest Donos Ista Aldrik was given the title of High General at his funeral. Many notables attended and spoke for it. His body was burned on the very land the late Clan Leader Zeysani's was.
After Lord Donos's funeral, Priestess Akralia approached Her Honor Fidelia Ista Aldrik and asked her about who the next High Priest of Zin would be. Everyone present became extremely angry at her audacity, with Taria even going so far as to pull a knife and threaten to cut her if she didn't leave the Bear clan leader alone. Couldn't she have waited? Did it have to be at his funeral?
FUNERAL AND WEDDING GAMES
Funeral games are going on for the deaths at the front, and will be followed wedding games for Princess Thaddia Elianik's marriage to Lord Banian IstaNydiam (@cal 8368). In fact, Mer Tioran took time away from his work towards becoming a legendary armorer to win second in Princess Thaddia's Winter Brawl.
CLAN HEIRS?
Lady Melani Elikista was sent to Lord Unot just this week and there was some ruckus during the ceremony. Something about two of the royal children being given to the Oshta family. Inquiring minds want to know what that's all about! They're not giving the Ticanee all of our heirs, are they? They already got Lord Dolan.
MISSING SOLDIERS?
Though funerals for the dead are still burning across the Firan Realms, there are still soldiers and camp followers, healers and priests, members of the third division and others who remain listed as MISSING IN ACTION. The army insists that not all of these people will turn up dead. Some of them may have been captured, some of them may be hiding or injured. But the list so far is: Harik Wolfhawke, Trachi Iberik, Madix Cellini, Kieri Harror, Midaro Ranorabus, Cantrix Jessamyn, Tatus Marcello, Rutan Jaffus, Kamunikos Lapis, Cyrus Polymestor, Aurora, Unora, and Dodona Latik. With forty five percent of the army wiped out, the names will continue to flow in.
TACKLEBALL LOSS
The Chimeran Panthers competed in their first game in the league against the Roaring Bears. Sharin Rissik, Arinsana Zutivik and Albel competed for the team. Arinsana showed off her prowess with several hard rucks and tackles, Albel proved to be a ball thief with interceptions and golden handed with catches and passes, and Sharin proved he had both a rocket arm and some legs when in addition to his passing he ran 70 Meters in the last five minutes of the game in 2 desperate attempts to score. Ultimately the Panthers lost, 7-0.
CHILD AIDE
Young Mer Stavros really seems enthusiastic about a career in the military. He is a Child Aide in the Chimeran Clan military, and has been issued an Iron Long sword by the late Sir General Vasyklo. The overly eager boy has now also enlisted in the second division of the Republic military, as a Child's aid. It is rumored that he swore oaths to Lord Captain Zerasmus, promising to be obedient, loyal, and mindful of his learning and duties. The youth is very eager to begin his career as a soldier.
