CHINNON SOKAIRIK

Chinnon Sokairik was born September 4, 13 A.U. in Istagadin. Though he was born slightly sickly, and fairly weak, he did not shirk his duties, even as a child. Adults remembered him as always doing his fair share of chores, even more, and even without being asked. He was always respectful of his parents, and, despite his lacking physique, was thought to grow up to be a fine Gold Dragon man.

Chinnon's early career bore this out. Upon his Ceremony of Souls, he joined the Gold Dragon Clan and Republic armies as a pilot, resolving to go to the front to fight the Shamibelians like a good Gold Dragon man ought. He almost died at the Front, but continued to soldier on and served faithfully until his disappearance. He was often called upon by Father Rasmus Montigo at Gold Dragon services, pointed out as an example of a good Gold Dragon man and warrior, dutiful to both family and Clan. Chinnon always seemed annoyed at being singled out, but never expressed it publicly.

Chinnon also took up the crafts of jewelrymaking, armorsmithing, and weaponsmithing, gaining renown for his beautiful pieces. He was known for prompt completion of his commissions and for being a fair and honest businessman. In 29 A.U., Chinnon simply failed to show up for muster one day. His commanders searched for him throughout the district, but failed to find him. As far as anyone can tell, he simply vanished without a trace. He's considered a deserter currently, and the motives for his disappearance are a mystery.
