Clarissa

Clarissa's life was by some standards short but marked with many a scandal. She was thrust early into the spotlight when Lady Ibania Istabannos declared publicly that Clarissa was not the daughter of Mer Obirius and Mes Yohanna Sokairik but instead was the missing Istabannos heir, Lady Katriva. While His Honor Nydiam investigated Ibania's claims and proclaimed them false, ultimately charging her with treason for the riot starting speech, they were not forgotten by everyone and the scandal loomed over Mes Clarissa for the remains of her childhood.

As an adult Clarissa, eschewing her father's Gold Dragon and Monotheistic upbringing, opted to join the Bear Clan where here mother came from and was noted to be a rather devoted Uffian. There she became a singer but also became involved in a wide array of arts as a lover of all things creative. She married young to a Kamnestran horse breeder by the name of Nimizo Anivarin and shortly after they were wed had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time in the midst of a Griffon Raid and suffered a wound that would have killed most others. For many months she lay broken in the temple of Soli but eventually by the grace of the gods her body recovered what seemed to be a quiet few years followed during which she brought several children into the world.

Unfortunately that all came to a halt when in 41 AU Clarissa was found guilty of forging the will of her life long friend, Priapa Davonelli. As part of her punishment for this crime Clarissa was conscripted into the military and sent off to the front during one of the most dangerous seasons the Firans have ever fought. For her participation in key efforts at the front she was pardoned and released from what would have been a life long conscription.

Having survived through so much in such it was rather shocking to her family in the winter of 43 AU, just prior to the spring festival, Clarissa merely vanished after leaving to go meet a client to discuss a painting. Some say that they were laid upon by half breed slavers, others say she ran off, others note how similar her disappearance was to that of her brother Chinnon, a decade before. The truth of it will likely never been known.

She leaves behind her parents, Obirius and Yohanna Sokairik, her husband Nimizo Anivarin and children; Rolin, Galianna, Elias, Kamnos, Orion, Astria, Zyaida, Livia, Jareth, and Balen.
