Requirements and Responsibilities
Requirements
- Discretion: Such position will be highly prestigious, pay extraordinarily well, and allow its holder to be privvy to the most important decisions in the Republic's history. Naturally, such a person will have to be discreet, trustworthy, and take an oath to keep the Council's secrets otherwise lead to the destruction of the Republic and the ruination and damnation of the people.
- Literacy: Records should be kept in Firan and with good penmanship and grammar.
- Preference: Preference shall be given to nobles over the age of 14, but the position is open to all comers.
Responsibilities
- Attending Clan Council Meetings
- Maintaining all Clan Council Records (OOC Note: Basic Wiki Proficiency Required. The Council keeps their records online.)
- Making official announcements to the people in the aftermath of each Clan Council meeting with any information that can be disseminated.
Compensation
- Stipend: A generous Republic stipend that should make you rich
- Prestige: If the Clan Council likes the job you're doing as Clerk of the Council, you will almost assuredly be made a Republic Minister some day or given preference in your career ambitions. If you suck at it, they'll likely have you stocked and whipped. If you're really really bad, they may kill you.

- Lord Fiero Teranzik -- Pros: Efficient, active, loyal, a Teranzik Cons: A Teranzik, might be seen as nepotism, kind of officious at times
- Prince Lianos Elianik -- Pros: Oh my god, a Prince who wants to do things, Cons: Perhaps too new to be trusted, position might be thought of as beneath him, might not be active enough, can't kill him if he screws up
- Lord Banian IstaNydiam-- Pros: Banian should have something useful to do, seems earnest, could be a move to redeem himself, Cons: It's Banian
- Lord Empyrean Teranzik -- Pros: He's a well-liked lord with potential, this could be a stepping stone in his career, he's family Cons: Could be seen as nepotism, not sure he's up to the job reliably
