Spawns!
- Spawns are pretty straightforward and streamline your Mu**-ing experience. Say you want to create a spawn for a channel called 'Guest'. Go to the 'Game' tab, then select 'Add Spawn Definition'. Once you are there, all you need to put into the 'Pattern strings to filter to spawn window' area is:
[Guest]*
- If you want to set up a spawn that handles all of your pages, copy and paste the following into the 'Pattern strings to filter to spawn window':
* pages: * From afar, * You paged * with * Long distance to *
You may also want to name your spawn 'Pages (altname)' (so for example: 'Pages (Gerald)' ) so that you don't get confused amongst alts.
- When making spawns of any kind, be sure to set the 'Applies to' area to one particular world. If you set them to global, you will get everything from all of your connected worlds all mixed together. Confusing!
Stacked Commands!
- Stacked Commands are a great and convenient way of doing several executions of the same command in a row -- such as prayer, praises, or disses. They can be done in SimpleMu straight from the command window with the following command:
/sc 12pray zutiv
- This will execute the "pray zutiv" command 12 times, with a small pause between each execution to avoid flooding the queue. It's important to have no space between the number of times you wish to execute the command and the command itself. Ie, there is no space between '12' and 'pray zutiv'.
- This command also works in Atlantis with the exact same formatting.
