Cockfighting

Cockfights are held as announced at the Sestanos Docks in the Old City or in the main warehouse at the South Docks of the Republic. It is a popular sport across all class levels, but the matches at the Sestanos Docks are attended mostly by the lower class since the Old City is by tradition a dangerous place for guards and nobles to venture into. The entry fee is usually 200 at the Sestanos, and much higher at the South Docks where nobles are eager to display their birds' prowess. Anyone can obtain a rooster by purchasing one at the market or from a previous owner. All fights are almost always fatal to at least one of the birds.

Note: The practice of Cockfighting is often frowned upon by Uf's followers who hold birds to be sacred... even roosters and chickens.
