Community Chest

The Community Chest system is a colorful little addition to the Firan codebase intended to help drain money out of the inflated economy without causing undue stress on the playerbase, while also providing fun little rewards and random rp hooks that players can run with if they choose. It was specifically intended to replace things like the gate tolls and other IC upkeep costs.
Structured after the "Community Chest" cards in Monopoly Games, when the code runs, you never know what you're going to get. You might be fined, rack up medical bills, or find a little bit of treasure of your own. If you've drawn a community chest card that doesn't seem to make sense for your character, feel free to ignore it or interpret it in any way that you can to make a coherent story. We encourage retroactive roleplaying of the scenarios if that sounds fun to you.
The routine is currently set to run once a day, and chooses ten active characters to dole out cards to. Level IVs have less of a chance of getting picked, but they're still eligible.
