LORD COVIS JUNIK

Lord Covis Junik had two brothers: Guvell, who is married to Lady Idra, and Azarus, who became family head. At the age of 13 he was betrothed to Eskaya, a Griffon girl, and he married her shortly before the Shamibelian invasion. He and his family served Elianos during the Great War and he was a dedicated soldier. During the war, he was captured by the Shamibelians and pressed into service as a laborer. When he finally returned to Anarinuell it was to the knowledge that his wife had been killed. He never remarried, and as a result, was believed to have had no known children.

In the year 18 A.U., Covis was imprisoned on charges of treason against the Queen. During his prison stay, he was attacked by a fellow prisoner and was, unfortunately, killed before the guards could prevent it.

Lord Covis was distinguished later in life as the pioneer and leader of the Republic scout division, the first established since the Great War. The men were incredibly successful on the battlefield, and under the Junik Lord's leadership, Covis' Cutthroats became a military unit to be reckoned with.

In the year 36 A.U., during the Blood Dragon Civil War, Lady Ishani Tanelish [announced] that Covis did, indeed, have one known son: then Lord Kamen. It was in reply to a [speech] made by their son, a member of the Gold Dragon Clan from an annulled marriage into the Manosik Family. Implicated in the Antonian Apostasy in 39 A.U., however, Kamen was put to death for his crimes leaving yet again no known children of the famed Junik lord.
