Background
The Cyrani family is an Eagle Clan family whose origin was once shrouded in mystery, but has been gradually revealed to the public. Before the Great Exodus, Radeen and Aneesa were servants in a prominent Gold Dragon Clan noble house who fell in love. Aneesa became blessed with child but Radeen did not step forward to marry her. An unwed mother was not welcome in the conservative Gold Dragon Clan and she was cast out in shame, eventually finding a home with the Eagle Clan.
Never remarrying, Aneesa raised her son, named Dominik, in the cradle of poverty. Eventually, Dominik grew up and became a Royal Eagle Guard and earned fame and distinction by being one of the few to stand against the riots when the twins, Nydiam and Zeysani, were born to the Royal Egale family. Domink went on to marry Zelisi and the couple were blessed with four children: Lippio, Tiberio, Dyanna, and Yeter before Zelisi's death in 16 A.U. from the water sickness.
In 20 A.U., Lippio won a Pentathlon prize and chose nobility, creating a noble branch of the family that maintained the same name and lived alongside the common relatives. Lippio's pentathlon and Olympic triumphs served to fund the family with both stenis and land, and they made an active push to improve their status in the clan. The famliy was famously loyal to Clan Leader Zeysani and served her interests during her numerous disappearances.
After Zeysani's death, social pressure mounted against neonobles and Prince Zaridos, acting on behalf of the Eagle throne, ordered the noble Cyrani branch merged with the Tanelish Family. Dominik was charged with leading the common branch and they remain one of the more conservetive Eagle families.
