DALDRIKA
Little is known about the infamous traitoress Daldrika. She was a half-shamibelian spy sent into Anarinuell by the Shamibelians. She lived there successfully as the woman named Rika, with access to the palace of all possible places. When her true nature was discovered, she was arrested. She was the first to ever escape from the Palace District Jail, though not the last. She remained in the cell for only a day, before the next morning she was found missing. Immediately, the Ranivor posted rewards for her and sent out his guards hunting and looking, but no trace of the woman could be found. She remained a fugitive for several months, throughout the summer and fall.
She was eventually arrested by General Riss. The General brought her into the city, under the alias of Emsani. She was recognized by several guards and put under arrest as the traitoress Daldrika. Due to her unpopularity with the people, for her own safety, she was put under arrest inside the Chimera Compound, under lock and key and guard.
She awaited trial, remaining in the Chimera Compound for several months, nearly the entire winter, before calamity hit. She had been kidnapped from the General's own quarters! She remained a fugitive yet again for another month or two. Finally, she was recaptured by General Riss in Sarkaran. She was then brought to the Ranivor directly and he issued demands for an immediate emergency council to take place for her trial.
Only three proxies attended the trial, Lady Taria of the Ticanee, Lord Jalil of the Griffon and Lady Zeysani of the Eagle. General Riss and the Ranivor presided over the trial. The proxies were allowed to question the prisoner and her sentence was death. She was to be taken south of the city and General Riss was to kill her, not only her body, but her soul. The news was then spread by heralds throughout the city that the traitoress Daldrika was dead. She remains one of the most infamous of traitors in Republic history, most notably because she managed to infiltrate the very Palace.
