While much is known now about the goals of the Antonian Apostasy, on Wednesday March 22nd in 39 AU, the group had never been heard of. When the people of Anarinuell woke that morning with the dawn, they witnessed a surge of guards across most districts. They converged mostly on private residences, ranging from common hovels in the Old City to opulent mansions of old-blooded nobles in clan districts, and many high-ranking persons were said to be among the charge.

By mid-morning at least a dozen arrests were clear - the higher profile detentions being among the most shocking. Lord Kristover and Lady Yasha Rissik were both taken from the Chimera Mansion by a contingent of guards led by an Elianik Prince. Lord Audentus Manosik was arrested by then-Governor Ojitar Firgalik, his fellow proxy, inside his estate, while Lord Kamen was arrested in the Palace District's bath-house.

Later in the day, Taleo announced that these people were being arrested for interrogation, as being involved with a vast conspiracy against the Republic, and eventually the vast majority of those arrested were in fact executed or exiled for treason.
