Doyana, Nespya and Zinasi

As many people are these days, Nespya kept an active LiveJournal which held some of the accountings of her health as she struggled to maintain her health. She kept a log of her health, how she felt, interests in her life, and showed how much she cared for her family and her friends. You can read Nespya's LiveJournal by clicking on this link.
The following are several remembrances of Nespya's player, as well as a sample of ASCII art created by Nespya. The ASCII art was submitted by the player of Yvette, who thought it might be nice to share with everyone else. She recounts that Nespya was excited to show off this piece of art for the Aurik wedding as she was particular proud of its creation.

One of Saria's player's writes: I started talking to Nespya's player when our child characters ICly met. I think Recis introduced Saria to Nespya. Those were usually comical RP scenes. She used to be the first to send hugs when logging in, and she would always ask how we were or how our day was. She was very nice. There are nice players on Firan, but everybody has some bad days that makes them tired and cranky. Nespya had many reasons to feel down, but I don't remember her ever being less than courteous and polite to all. I remember the silly chitchats we had that wouldn't be worth more than a giggle. On the day she had the emits that she had beat her cancer, she was so happy that I could feel it. We talked on how she should celebrate, almost as if we could actually go out tp party! That's the day that keeps coming back to mind. It is heart breaking and feels like a great injustice that at the end the cancer took her away. My only regret is that I hadn't had the opportunity to speak more with her and get to know her better. She was someone worthwhile and worth meeting. I'd always feel a bit better after talking with her, even on those bad days. Even going through everything she had to with the cancer, she could still find the time to cheer up other people. This is a picture that Yvette made of Nespya. Yvette and Nespya met in the bath house and part of what she tried to do with the picture was imply damp hair, since Nespya would never be without her hairpins while with Yvette. |
