Drik

In the Firan Pantheon, Drik is the Lion King of Fury. It is said that Drik and his twin sister Eesha were born of dreams from their mother Soli's womb. Eesha was Uf's fondest hope, and Drik her worst fear. Drik is the God of Hate, Revenge, Cruelty, and Fury. He is generally unwanted, and avoided by all but Eesha. This is not because he has an ugly visage. In fact, Drik is alluringly handsome and easily charms the unwary. It is because his power to instigate hatred or fury is strong enough to afflict even Zutiv, the King of Gods. Drik is meddlesome and malicious. He has no special animal because none will tolerate his presence. Drik and Srenna are thought to have an on-and-off romance — thus explaining just and unjust wars.

Drik Worship

Drik is not openly worshipped among the Firans, even though his symbol does appear in most temples. It is rumored that there is an underground group of worshippers that pluck the still beating hearts out of the animals they hunt, or their opponents in war, and burn them in sacrifice to Drik, but there is no known evidence of this. It is considered a crime of treason to be caught praying to, or worshiping, Drik, especially since it is believed that Shamibelians' god Obala is actually Drik himself.

There is no (openly) known special priestly order of Drik. Those who are suspected of worshipping Drik are referred to as Drikkists.
