DRYOPI

Dryopi Histaru was a soldier in her younger years for the Eagle military that wound up married to Hydran Vorfus Histaru after a night's drinking indiscretions resulted with her being pregnant with his child. Her marriage to Vorfus made her an instant Hydran. She learned how to blacksmith and when her husband finally joined them in Arinzi it was one of the best periods of their marriage. In time, to help alleviate the costs of living, she joined the republic military only to have the current regent have a fit about it. After she got out of jail the regent declared she was not allowed to touch a weapon again upon pain of death and was to go barefoot till she had produced for the clan two more children and took classes in childcare. The thought of her daughter having to grow up and face the same life was unthinkable to Dryopi so she made arrangements for her sons, giving them to Lady Hattie. As far as is known she drowned herself and her daughter Kallisto in the river Ani. Hers and her daughters clothing were found near it. Their bodies were never found.
