Overview

The Elianik Family is the ruling family of the entire Firan realms. Elianos is the Ranivor and founder of the Republic. He was selected as Ranivor during the crisis of the Great War, when the Firan clans first encountered their mortal enemy the Shamibelian. Of all the leaders on the Clan Council, it was Elianos alone who was able to forge a unity that would allow the Firan people to resist the encroaching Shamibelian horde. For this reason, his family is honored with the hereditary rule over the Republic itself. Elianos is married to the Lady Sabine, a powerful woman in her own right -- leader of the Bear Clan, High Priestess of the Firan people, and mother of the new nation. Their children are Selene, Solgarik, and Vahlgellan, with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sons of Elianos

Solgarik was married to Clan Leader Zeysani Istaneysani, daughter of former Eagle Clan Leader Eve and sister to Clan Leader Nydiam. After serving in a triumvirate with his brother Vahlgellan and nephew Sadin, Solgarik fell into a strange divine slumber from which he never awoke. He passed away in Lurashar in the fall of 26 A.U. Three children were born from his marriage to Zeysani: Twins Zaridos & Lianos and a daughter, Ania. Zaridos married Laytania Firgalik and has several small children of his own, while Ania married her cousin Prince Rislan, with whom she has three children so far. Lianos is unmarried.

Vahlgellan married Eliana Rissik, the daughter of the late Chimera Clan Leader, Akinita and the Hero Garen. Three sons were born to Eliana and Vahlgellan: Savaren, Rislan, and Avahlon. After Elianos and Sabine departed for Vreland, with the other Heroes, the three princes Vahlgellan, Solgarik and Sadin were left jointly in charge, as triumvirate. In 21 A.U. this triumvirate was replaced by the New Republic, ruled by Vahlgellan as Ranivor. Prince Solgarik was found to have fallen into a deep sleep, one that he could not be woken from. Vahlgellan was able to hold the throne until 24 A.U. when the Gold Dragon-Bear War changed the balance of power within the Republic. Vahlgellan lost control of the situation and he and his wife left Anarinuell for Caldera City, leaving their children behind to be raised by their aunt Selene and a series of appointed Viceroys. In 33 A.U., Vahlgellan was implicated in the uprising which led to the death of Clan Leader Zeysani. He died by his own hand in prison. His wife remains alive but in hiding. Two of Vahlgellan's sons have married; Savaren wed Lady Teonia Teranzik, granddaughter of Viceroy Taleo. Rislan married Clan Leader Ania, his cousin and fellow royal Elianik.

Selene's Line

Selene is most well known for claiming to be the wife of the new God Elik, which led to many Firans thinking her to be mad. Others consider her to be holy. She is approximately 15 years older than her two twin brothers Solgarik and Vahlgellan and even has children only a little younger than they are: Inaya and Sadin. Technically, Selene, Inaya and Sadin could all be considered a part of the Ista Aldrik noble family as well, but all three go by the last name of Elianik.


Sadin has been married to Lucretia Firgalik, Bashona Istabannos, Yasha Iberik and Leyla Firgalik. He has many children. Those who bear the Elianik name are his daughter and two sons by Lucretia: Tia, Lucas, and Argin. His daughter by Yasha, Nalene, is also a princess of the realm. Tia married Lord Ojitar Firgalik, giving up her royal title to do so. Lucas married Akiva Ista Aldrik of the Bear clan, who joined the Elianik family.

Inaya was married to Vahlon, son of former Ticanee Clan leader Torvahl Oshta and brother to Ticanee Clan leader Taria Oshta. Vahlon was was killed in late August of 19 A.U. while at war with the Shamibelians. Inaya later wed Lord Erythes Ista Aldrik on Jun 4, in the year 22 A.U.; many years after Erythes' death, Inaya married yet again to Lord Inarus Iberik. She has three children, a son by Vahlon called Torianos, a daughter by Erythes named Thaddia, and another daughter by Inarus named Ayani. Torianos is married to Melani Oshta, daughter of Clan Leader Taria and Lord Taleo Teranzik.
