Ellashar Family

The Ellashar family was one of few pioneer middle class families in the Gold Dragon Clan to have followed Ranivor Elianos when he formed the youngest clan in the Firan realms, the Chimera Clan.

The family is originally from Cirusuran. Known for its large numbers, the family produced some of finest craftsmen and infantry soldiers of the Gold Dragon clan. They followed and enthusiastically fought during the Gold Dragon vs. Griffon wars but they never fully converted to monotheist, so when Elianos decided to pick up and go off into the woods, the family decided to go along and settled at Emran.

The family survived the Great War though at the lost of many members. At the time, Majeed was a young soldier that returned home with a serious wound in his leg that incapacitated him and unabled him to go to war again. He married and later moved to Anarinuell after it was retaken.

Majeed is a longtime bartender at the Glassworks, known for the beverages he made, stories told and his loyal companion Protik, the monkey, who apparently was give the last name of the family. Eventually, Majeed’s younger brother with his wife and son, Vadim, decided to leave Emran and joined the rest of the family at Anarinuell, helping it to prosper.

Around the year 24 A.U., Charissa Ellashar and her lover Sayam Kirdik attempt to kill Lord Taleo. She died in a struggle to escape, killed with the taint of having been a Drikkist. The whole Ellashar family greatly lost face and many would murmur that they must all follow the Lion King. It was in the same year, around late fall, that Jacinto disappeared, without a trace. At the same time, Rafi and Iona, with their two children Phaisia and Hufimo, are given permission by the clan leader Akinita to leave the Ellashar family and form a new one, the Fengan Family.

Unusual events continued to happen to family members even while no longer being part of the family. For example, Nazlo became part of the Garkansen family by marrying mes Jorjeena, who was cursed and became a man though at a later point she became a woman again. Malvina also escaped the family though already as an old maiden when she married Solan Harror to later divorce him and marry Artaro Nesharen and being disowned and executed for taking part of the Antonian Apostasy in 39 A.U.

Some say that trouble is in their blood, and though they can escape their last name they can't escape their heritage. Other says that they were cursed for Charissa vicious deeds. The only true fact is that the Ellashar are a dying family with currently only old two members, Majeed and Vadim.
