Fallon

Overview
This stripey warrior hailing from Caldera City came to Ananariuell because she didn't much like the orphanage in Caldera. The Monkey House, as she calls the Kamnestran temple, doesn't do well raising Ticanee cubs. She found her way into Alexa Wolfhawke's care at the Totem's Home Orphanage and later, into a great pack called the Cottonmouths.
Ranks & Offices
- Child Aide of the Fifth (age 12)
- Ticanee Cadet (age 11)
- Cup-bearer (age 10)
Family Life
Fallon views her family the same way a wolf views a pack. Everyone within is a member of the pack but not all members are blood related. She looks up to the alpha male and alpha female -- daddy and mommy -- and holds a deep respect for all the pack elders. In the case of the Cottonmouths, all of Fallon's siblings and their offspring are all older than her. There are a lot of boots to fill.
Parents
Ekenon - Known to the clan as Master Teacher, Commander Wolf and Old Wolf, Ekenon is a force to be reckoned with. He is in his 60's but still quite a powerhouse. His parenting is very heavyhanded as he seems more used to training soldiers than raising kids. As such, he sees great potential in his daughter. When it comes to life lessons, he is harder on her than he is on others as he wants her to be everything she possibly can. He really puts the fear into Fallon, that's for sure! But she definitely loves her Father Wolf.
Zekki - Fallon's new mommy, Zekki is the polar opposite of Ekenon. She is a soft-handed and soft-voiced woman. She is everything a good mommy should be. Zekki is an odd influence on Fallon as she is a full priestess of Soli. Fallon doesn't totally understand the whole Firan belief system or their gods, but if mommy says Soli is good, then Soli is good. Afterall... Soli is the mommy god and Zekki is a mommy. Mommies are good.
Siblings
Given how late in their years Zekki and Ekenon adopted Fallon, her siblings are 20-30 years her senior. But she loves them all the same. There's really just too many for her to remember them all, but there's a couple she knows!
Primo - /Lord/ Primo! Son of Zekki, Primo seems to welcome his new baby sister with wide, open arms. He even insists Fallon not call him by any noble title. He is a priest of Srenna and a strong soldier, too. Both aspects are very strong influences to her.
Nalandra - Ekenon's daughter from another marriage, Nalanda didn't believe at first that Fallon was her sister. But after explaining she was adopted, the weaver welcomed Fallon into her home and seemed to take to her warmly.
Accomplishments
- Getting to Anarinuell
Dissatisfied with the way people in Caldera raise their cubs, Fallon and her long-time friend Kagi followed a crow to a caravan that ultimately lead them to Anarinuell where they met up with an entire district full of Ticanee. (age 8)
- Adopted by the Cottonmouths
A year after arriving in the city, [Alexa] Wolfehawk helped Fallon get adopted into a great family. After losing everything she knew, Fallon finally had a chance to start over with the Cottonmouths. (age 9)
- Becoming Cup Bearer
Approinted as a cup bearer to attend Clan Council meetings, it is Fallon's job to make sure goblets do not go empty and that important people do not get poisoned. For this, she learned a good amount of poison-tasting and fortunately for her... it was never necessary before her term was over! (age 10)
- Earning a horse
Fallon is never sure exactly what she did to earn a horse, but Kagi's mother Zhara is a horse breeder, so... that might be the reason! She was given a horse by Zhara named Bandit and Fallon absolutely adores it. Especially the beads woven in its tail to make it look stripey! (age 10)
- Surviving T'Rages
During the tour of 43 A.U., a new disease was discovered in Ellish and accidentally brought back to the city. This disease causes the victim to lash out violently and if untreated, is deadly. Fallon contracted it and fortunately survived. (age 11)
- Sneaking to Ellish
What would be coined as one of the biggest events in any cub's life, Fallon managed to sneak to a liberated Ellish during one of the military tours. Once there, she was allowed to stay and was put to work. Aside from her friend Kagi who went with her, no other child has matched this accomplishment. (age 11)
- Becoming Child Aide for the Fifth
Immediately following her return home from Ellish, Fallon faced the several layers of punishment awaiting her for several difference sources. One of these punishments was also an honour. Along with Kagi, Fallon was named a member of the child aide program for the Fifth Division. (age 12)
Allies
Kagi - Fallon's super best friend, Kagi and Fallon have been through a lot and it happens they both found homes with families that live together! They go on a lot of adventures and really, Kagi is the biggest thing in Fallon's life. She seems to be constantly trying to better herself; oftentimes they seem to be competing with one another. In the end, though, they appear to be inseparable. Too bad boys are still gross, though.
Alexa - Alexa is everything Fallon looks for in a mentor. She's a strong and respected warrioress; leader of the Fifth and High Priestess of Srenna's temple. Alexa runs the Totem's Home Orphanage where Kagi and Fallon went after arriving to the city. Since then, Alexa has been the end-all in many of life's lessons and Fallon regards her very highly. Whatever Alexa says is true. No question.
Talon - Alexa's cub, Talon is very quiet but he seems to make time to help train Fallon. He's not exactly the most playful, but he's a Ticanee and any cub of Alexa's is bound to be a good cub. Not to mention... well... he's kinda dreamy... kinda.
Okatik - Known better as Bobcat, Okatik is an old school Tic through and through. 100% Totem worshipper, he teaches Fallon about the darker side of things. Manipulation, espionage, sneaking and how not to easily trust people. Bobcat is very blunt and doesn't sugar coat anything, that's for sure.
Lykiaos - He gets along with Fallon though they often like to see who can out-tackle or out-hunt the other. They play their little Ticanee games together and prepare for the day they will be adults battling it out.
Zafryn - And odd combination, but Zafryn and Fallon ended up as friends. A prim and proper noblechild and a not-so-proper savage girl. As the saying goes: opposites attract.
Achillus - A gladiator known as the "Brick Wall," Achillus is one of Fallon's mentors and trainers. He treats her well but in a brawl, he doesn't go easy on her. Just how Fallon prefers it!
Talikos - It's sometimes not sure if he's an ally or not. Lord Talikos can't hunt to save his life and he's pretty awkward as a Firan entirely. Still, Fallon seems to like him enough to help him out.
Enemies
Hydrans - Yes. The entire Hydran clan. They beat, burn and kill their women. They've violent. They're hateful. The day Fallon arrived to the city, she had a very bad run-in with the Hydrans and she has had distaste for them since!
Tia - Fallon saw this stupid noblewoman bringing farm animals to a griffon race. Goats and sheep and everything of the like. She commented about it and the loud, crazy woman had her whipped. Not to mention she has those silly-looking yappy mutant midget hounds. What's up with that? When she was diagnosed with mental sickness and set away, Fallon wasn't the least bit surprised!
Tarquin - This little stoolpigeon is a huge tattletale. He tattles on /everyone/ and /everything./ He's just a Toadie and Fallon hates him. Not to mention he was Tia's little errand boy. Double boo!
Quintus - Some Firan guy that seems to think he knows everything about everything. He also seems to love telling Fallon what to do or what not to do. Fallon does not like him in any manner. He always seems up to something and failing miserably.
Cecilia - This girl is nothing but a noble pain in the ass. She's a brat to the tenth degree. All she does is go on and on about how she was born better than anyone else, but really until she starts earning her title, she's no better than a worm in the ground to Fallon.
Tarran - He held a rabbit show. It's not Fallon's fault he didn't specify further. Fallon brought the best rabbit stew she could cook up and he got really mean and kicked her out. What the heck? He didn't even try it!
Scandals
Closest thing Fallon is to an actual scandal so far is some gossip overheard at the Junik mansion about her spending time with Lord Zafryn. But that faded quickly as most gossip often does.
The real scandal is not really a scandal at all. When she was 11, Fallon and Kagi stowed away on a wagon bound for Ellish during the third tour of 44 A.U. Discovered by Alexa Wolfhawke, it was decided it was safer to keep them there under her watch than trying to send them home. For two weeks, Fallon was in Ellish running odd jobs and tasks even a Sentry didn't have time for. While there, Fallon had experiences she will never forget... and a dreading of the punishment awaiting her when she got home!
Habits
Fallon is very sponateous to the point where she's almost predictable. She always has energy to burn and you can guarantee that she will zip from one thing to another; almost as if she has no clue what's going on with her surroundings. She is more perceptive than she puts on, but often isn't interested enough to put it to any use.
She has a nasty habit of glaring at Firans that get too close to other Tics or to the district itself. As if she sees them as a threat to their world. Up until she snuck to Ellish, she had a strong distaste for them. Now, she is more tolerant though the ones that get on her bad side rarely get second chances by choice.
For all her tendencies, Fallon is incredibly interested in perserving stories and she actually does look up to those older than her. Unless they prove otherwise incompetent. She used to struggle with remembering noble titles, but Ellish changed that. She only forgets once in a while now. Fallon usually says the first thing that pops in her head and there doesn't seem to be a filter between her thoughts and her mouth, so what she says is often the truth of her feelings.
