Firans

The Firans are a diverse people. As the story goes, they were originally a race of giants who were shrunk to their current stature for defiance of the will of the gods. They divided, forming a number of different clans, each with their own, distinct culture, laws and rulers.

In light of the threat the Shamibelians posed to them, the Firan Clans united to form a Republic under the leadership of Elianos Firgalik. Recently, however, the Hydra clan leader, Belik, walked out of a meeting of the Clan Council and took his clan out of the Republic. A new coalition, the Alliance, was formed, this time under the leadership of Elianos' son, Vahlgellan, acting as Viceroy. In recent years, Vahlgellan's rule failed and the Republic was united back together with the Hydra Clan, and a new Viceroy was appointed by the Council.
