There are myriad places on the Internet to discuss Firan. Some are hosted by FiranMUX but many are not.

Official Firan Web Forum

We have a very active discussion forum where players offer suggestions and discuss a wide variety of topics. There are sections for each of the various clans and other factions. The forums are available only to registered Firan players.

Official Mailing Lists

We maintain several mailing lists / web groups using Yahoo! Groups. Most of these require approval to join, so use the same email address you used to register for the game, or at least let us know who you play when you sign up for the list.

• Firan is the main group for players. It has extremely low traffic. Mostly, we use the list for important status messages about the game when it is down for any reason.
• firan-logs is where you should send your role-playing logs to earn extra XP. You cannot "join" this group to read logs unless you are part of the Wizard staff.
• firan-investigation is where you should send your logs of crimes that your character commits. No one but Wizards can join this group and read these messages.
• firan-events receives a copy of all the game-wide emits. This is a great way to stay connected to the game. Die-hard players have these messages forwarded to their phone!
• firan-admin is a group for Wizards only.
• firan-ph is a group for Player Helpers only.

People have created Firan groups on most social networking sites. We often don't have any control over these groups.

Representation on Other MU*s

• We sorta maintain an embassy over on Gateway, formerly Online Gaming Resource MUSH (OGR). When we do Firan site maintenance and have the game down for any length of time, we invite people over there to hang out. Log in and @tel #1259 to get to the Firan Embassy.
