Immediately After the Fall of Ellish
The Firan Republic Military's 3rd Division is currently holding Ellish.
The Third Division reports that things are almost eerily quiet in Ellish. Very few Shamibelian warriors were captured alive. Even fewer Shamibelian women. But there are some. And of course, slaves of many nationalities abound. In the immediate aftermath, some of the slaves toppled a statue of Fudathim and mysteriously, the Firan soldiers had an artist on hand to paint the scene. Now, the Firan army must celebrate, because they have clearly been greeted as liberators and have brought complete, lasting peace to an enslaved people! Meanwhile, the search for firebombs continues in the city of Ellish. Shamibelian soldiers have abandoned all the outposts on the Firan side of the border, but outside Ellish they retain several aviaries and watchposts. There is a small demilitarized zone but the Third Division is only capable of holding, not pursuing, so for now, they shout taunts over the border.
Information the Military Wants
- The Military has heard slaves whisper that the real reason Lord General Donos Ista Aldrik died, is because the Shamibelians had used a dark relic against him. They call it Obala's Stone of Supremacy.
Brainstorming Missions
This is a section for players to add missions that they would like to accomplish in Ellish when the Occupation officially kicks off in June 2008. (Don't forget to use the signature after your ideas, so you can get credit.)
- Dur: Raid/Capture Shammie Aviaries and watchposts to increase DMZ --Arik
- Explore the Tower and Search for Scrolls/records from Firan occupation --Arik
- Rebuilding the Firan temples in the city --Sabria
- Try to ferret out pockets of resistance both in Ellish and Anarinuell --Sabria
- Look for true connections between the Nehkat and the Shamibelians. Were they in league with each other or are they truely enemies? --Sabria
- Look for slaves that could help us in any way be it with developments on medicine, armors, weapons, or any other kind of technologies we could use. -- Tioran
- Rebuilding the fortifications we blew up --Ion
- Restore city and map it and the surroundings --Ion
- Finding employment for ex-slaves --Ion
- Secure area between Ellish and Agadin, especially B6 on this map --Srenni (Is this what Arik meant?)
- Religious Council: What do we /do/ in terms of the Tower of Obala and the Slave Temple? --Srenni
- Investigate and secure any and all useable resources that the Firans might need or be able to use --Sinan
- Some of the slaves who would like to be loyal to the firans are on the fence due to the treatment of their halfbreed siblings/spouses/children - Harvinia
- With a large influx of Bonduins into the population, newly freed and the small population that had remained freed (comparative to what had remained of the Ticanee in the early days?), what would they want? Would they agree to being forced into Firan clans or want to be considered their own people? -- Alexa/Idowu
- Interrogations of Shami-loyal slaves and/or Shamis themselves. Probably part of rooting out pockets of resistance. (Ladonna)

- Glad for freedom but unable to conform to the life style of their former clans, the slaves of Ellish try to form their own clan and declare some enslaved noble as their clan leader - Harvinia
- Institute an immediate program of teaching Firan language/literacy. All city signage etc should be bilingual for a period of years (3?) at which point there would begin a phasing out of Shamibelian.--Judanarius
- Study the cultural norms (festivals, celebrations, practices) and create bridge/mirrored Firan events that will eventually supplant the originals. --Judanarius
- Take an immediate census, in the process amassing information on lineage and as much historical data on family lines as possible (ie - how did they get to Ellish? Was the family established there when the Shamibelians overran it, or were they or their older family members kidnapped from elsewhere?) --Judanarius
- Create a memorial to the Ticanee sacrificed, and their totem pole --Judanarius
- Determine the current currency in use and develop a way to establish the steni in its place -- Judanarius
- Ensure that vital city services are functional - food, supplies, healers, communication, trade -- Judanarius
- Have one of those Korean-like TV shows (use TV channel) to show the reuniting of newly freed people with their relatives from Anarinuel (Timandra/Sparky)
- Insurgent forces rise up to want to have control of a city they know better geographically (Timandra/Sparky)
- Former slaves/Shamibelians who cannot face the idea of living under enemy rule decide to defect to Shamibel (Timandra/Sparky)

- A full-blooded Shamibelian wants to defect to the Firan side. Will Firans let him and if so, will he be accepted? -- Rognik
- I thought I remembered in one of the emits when we were at the gates of Ellish how slaves of all races were leaving the city, bonduins, vrelanders, firans, ticanee and I swore it said something about a race or two of which we didnt even know of? Perhaps we could have something where one of these unknown's came to Firan, or a group of the unknowns -- Gaddineez, dallyfoster
- Create a spy network in Ellish (potentially of ex-slaves), if IC leadership wants it --Srenni
- Figuring out some way of countering night-time Shami firebombing raids. Live underground. Get big lights. -Something-. --Ion
- Determine who and which clan should rule Ellish! It has been 40 years since the Griffons lost it, and it took the sacrifice of stenis and lives of ALL the clans to retake it. With the Griffon clan coming in at the very end in terms of what they gave. The Gold Dragons are the mightiest they should own it.
