The city is all abuzz with the current miracle that happened during a recent clan council meeting. There, the priest Tomis, who had been convicted of treason against the Republic, was struck down and suddenly seemed to turn into a statue before the Council even was able to finish sentencing him! The hole in the roof of the Unity Building stands testament to this, as does Tomis' dull gleam. It's believed that he was an oath breaker. All of the Clan Council escaped mostly unharmed, albeit shaken.
The Spring Festival is finally underway, and the revelries are in full swing! Already there have been many events, including a Battle Royale, won by Anikos of the recently-disgraced Aurik family; a Triathalon for the Socialites, won by Lady Gellina Rissik; and two pentathalons, won by Anikos Aurik and Kendra Coyote respectively. Dancing, food, fun and frolicking are continuing throughout the day and night. It's rumored that there might be an abundance of lovage at the Festival this year -- but then again, maybe not.
However, whispers continue to circulate about the strange sickness the women seem to have. More quiet whispers among the men -- although certainly more vocal among the women -- is that the men don't seem to have any interest in performing Eesha's ritual, either! They could just be incapable, of course, but who wants to actually say -that-? Some have been attributing it to Eesha's will, in retribution for the lateness of her festival. It remains to be seen if the planned celebration organized by Eesha's temple will help the situation.
Stranger still, many who were not at the Festival the other afternoon noticed a flight of several griffons leaving quickly, darting over the city on their way north, followed soon -- and very shortly -- by some pilots from the Fourth Division. The pilots soon returned, and the rumor is that it was a Clan's griffons. The question now is: whose? FIRAN_TIMES
