Official Statement
My name is Vitara Fissia Tibenya, Daughter of Richelle and Venet Tibenya, Wife of Pike Hashi Vettle. I think this is a complete farce, and that my sister Pevifa is overwrought with her husband's death. And who could blame her? You've all seen how rattled she's been in recent days--to get so jealous of a slave like Throgana that she slapped her on the Night of Obala's Pride? My sister simply hasn't been herself, so we must forgive her for interrogating us like slaves.
Background
Fissia has had a hard life. She was once happily married to Scithvor, whose slaves worked her lands, and attended her every need. But then she made a little boo-boo, and Scithvor divorced her. She had to marry Hashi just to make sure she had a guard dog for her front door!
But Hashi is a terrible husband and a worse master. He has the dumbest, most worthless slaves. She has literally lived on the edge of poverty because Hashi's slaves are useless whores. And he thinks he's a big man now, standing to inherit all of his father's slaves. If Fissia thought the bastard deserved to inherit such wealth she'd be happy, but she knows better. Now that he's considering gifting Fissia off -- while she's still pregnant, at that -- she couldn't be more aghast.

Goals
- If Hashi insists on gifting Fissia off, she should see to it that Hralib's slaves take the blame for his murder so that Hashi inherits nothing.
- Fissia should find another man to challenge Hashi for her hand in marriage, so that she isn't just gifted off--what an embarrassment that would be.
- Fissia has had nothing but sons, and she desperately wants a girl to carry on her line. She should arrange with her sister to trade babies when they're born as per Shamibelian custom.
- Unless Fissia thinks she stands to gain from Hashi's potential new wealth of slaves, she should get Hashi killed at the first opportunity.
- Fissia should find a way to use the Last Will and Testament she had forged to leave all Hralib's slaves to the man of her choice--she just has to fill in the blank.

Fissia Round One
Round One Reveal
Everyone knows that with Hralib dead, his wife Nobifa is going to lose all the slaves that work her lands and fill her coffers. Why would she want him dead? Unless, of course, she had another husband waiting in the wings . . .
Everyone knows that as Hralib's second wife, Nobifa had access to kill him at any time.
Although Hashi insists on using Aylina as a brothel slave, she's actually becoming one of the most talented cooks in the city, and could make them a fortune if they used her talents in the kitchen.
As far as Hashi's slaves go, Fissia prefers Aylina above all the rest. The girl has an actual skill--she can cook. More than that, she's frugal. The girl manages to get the cheapest cuts of meat anywhere to be had in Anarinuell!
Even so, Fissia feels compelled to mention that the darling little slave girl Aylina also hated Hralib with a passion. Something about Hralib's armor always angered her, and wasn't the dead Governor found without his armor?
Aylina has ash on the bottoms of her slippers.
Last night, when Fissia was getting her hair done for the Night of Obala's Pride, she caught Jalil defying his master's orders to go talk to his daughter, Emma, at 8:15PM. They were seen in very close, conspiratorial conversation. Could father and daughter have been plotting to kill their master together?
Even if they weren't, Fissia knows for a fact that Emma is still in contact with her father, Jalil, even though Hralib forbid it. Perhaps Throgana found out and was going to tell, and get Emma in trouble. That'd be motive enough to kill Throgana.
Round One Conceal
Fissia makes earrings in her spare time, to supplement their meager income and support her lands. She is worried that the earrings found on Hralib's dead body might be of her design, and that she may look guilty.
Aylina's such a good slave girl, really, that she even finds bones for Fissia to carve into earrings.
Slaves are disobedient and hard to manage, so of course Fissia threatens the slaves and tells them that Spike is going to eat them, but he's really just a harmless little puppy, isn't he? Isn't he? What a cute doggie! Good boy!
The real reason Pevifa refused to give land to her daughter Fara and let her fall into slavery is because the girl tried to seduce Hralib. Might Pevifa have come to blame Hralib for her estrangement from her daughter, and wanted him dead for it?
Fissia is very worried that her sister murdered her own husband--Fissia certainly knows how it feels to hate your husband enough to do it, but suspicion falls first on the slaves, then on the wife! Fissia needs to find out everything that incriminates her sister, and protect her.

Scithvor was bitterly resentful of Hralib trying to make him give up his full Shamibelian slave, Fara Tibenya, and was overheard to say, "I'll kill him before I let him take my slaves from me." Fissia knows Scithvor has quite the temper -- she wouldn't be surprised if he killed Hralib after all.
Scithvor lost his Skull-of-Taria cup to Hralib when Fissia, at the time his wife, lost it in a bet with Nobifa Vettle. So where did he get it, that he's been drinking from it all night?
Aylina returned to Hashi's tents on Fissia's land carrying a large bundle, which she buried.
Gilin has a special talent for stealing just about anything--maybe even firebombs.
Gilin has a monkey-like ability to get in and out of tight spaces, sneak up on people, etcetera. She could have easily snuck up on Hralib and killed him before he even knew she was there.
Whenever Hralib purchased a night with Yvette, he would make her perform her "special trick" and she would always return in tears, bitter and murderous. She hated Hralib and wished him dead.
Yvette has been crying and upset all day. Is it guilt?
Pevifa frequently went to inspect her lands, to make sure they were being cleared properly and to memorize their boundaries. She didn't usually go in the dark, or with a shovel, but there's certainly nothing incriminating about her being on her own plantation.
Hralib told Hashi that if he didn't start achieving, he would make a Last Will and disinherit him. Whoever inherits Hralib's slaves and livestock will become one of the richest men in the Empire. That's a powerful motivation for Hashi to have offed his dad.
Hashi and Hralib had an argument before the start of the Night of Obala's Pride. Hralib yelled at Hashi to "Shape up, or else."
Round Two Conceal
Scithvor has a nasty temper. Fissia knows--she used to be married to him! The day that Fissia bet his Skull-of-Taria cup in a game of chance to Nobifa Vettle, Scithvor got so angry at Fissia that he gave her away to Hashi. She'll be damned if she gets given away again.
It's true. Hashi's dog Spike is devoted only to Fissia and she has trained it to kill on command. It could have left the scratch mark on Hralib's body and bitten off his finger. Fissia doesn't really know, because after the party it "accidentally" got away from her.
Fissia showed up to the Night of Obala's Pride wearing a costume that matched her husband's dog, Spike, and was carrying him around the party. At first it just seemed gauche, but it bothered Hralib. He muttered angrily, ""And Obala said, let the men be keepers of the living, and the women be keepers of things . . ." He said that he was going to make Hashi take the dog away from her.
But Fissia wasn't really scared that was going to happen. After all, the dog would have bitten Hashi's face off if he tried, and Fissia would have loved that.
Fissia was nervous on the Night of Obala's Pride because she was going to use her dog to kill someone.
Fissia never liked Throgana--she thought Hralib showed that Firan girl too much favor, and that she needed to know her place. What was she thinking, getting her nails painted and made up for the Night of Obala's Pride? Presumptuous strumpet!
It's actually Scithvor's baby that Fissia's carrying. Not Hashi's. She's not sure how to best use this information, however.

Emma helped Throgana get ready for the Night of Obala's pride, and painted her nails, but before that, Fissia saw Jalil tampering with Emma's pouch of cosmetics. What does a Gold Dragon male need with girl's cosmetics?
Round Three Conceal
When Fissia saw Hashi leave the Night of Obala's Pride with some other woman, a masked Shamibelian woman--not a brothel slave--it was the last straw. She told Spike to KILL!
Fissia is innocent of trying to kill Hralib and Throgana--it was Hashi she was trying to kill the Night of Obala's Pride by sending her dog after him.
