Garra
From FiranMUX
Mes Garra Keniran's early life was a bit of a mystery, for she remembered
nothing about her early childhood years before arriving in Anarinuell,
where she was raised in Kamnestra's Orphanage. She was just Garra, then,
and the only possible indication as to what clan she belonged to came in
the form of a bracelet with a Bear on it that she wore as a young girl.
Because of this, she remained fiercely loyal to that clan all throughout
her life. She became a guard following her Ceremony of Souls, after a
childhood spent begging for coins to stave off hunger, wanting to make a
difference in the lives of future orphans scraping to make a life for
themselves. Through tireless effort, Garra rose through the ranks, and
eventually was awarded the rank of General in the First Division in 25
A.U.
However, shortly thereafter, things started to go sour for Garra, and rather quickly. In February of the year 26 A.U., she was jailed for six months, and fined 3 million stenis for making a speech without permission. Later that year, she stepped down as General from the First Division, in an attempt to join the Second Division under High General Zayes' command, making it known to many that she felt unliked and underappreciated for all her hard work. In January of 27 A.U., she was stripped of her rank of Captain in the Bear Clan Military, and was discharged for conduct unbecoming an officer. And finally, in September of 27 A.U., Lord Taleo Teranzik, then-proxy of the Bear clan, did a little cleaning up of the clan before giving up his medallion to become Republic Viceroy. Garra was deemed a 'constant agitator', and banished from Anarinuell back to the war front, sentenced to spend the rest of her life serving in the Third Division on the charge of insubordination and disloyalty to the Bear throne.
Garra's fate did not end there, though. During the Antonian Apostasy, Garra's son, Moyanik, was accused of working with the conspirators closely. Because of such, the Viceroy sentenced the boy and his mother to death, since they have exhausted all their chances from the Republic to otherwise pull their family together. The rest of the Keniran family was sentenced harshly and forced out of the walls to live in the Old City. Garra is survived only by her husband, Alok; and her children, Alora, Libertia, and Arrosa.
