LADY GELLINA ISTA ALDRIK

Gellina Ista Aldrik was the daughter of Lady Sarcia and Lord Gellhorn. She always had a sense for finding the lighter, more joyous things in life. This led her to dabbling in a few adventures, such as becoming a medic and going off to war, to fending off Shamibelians in the temple once. This is where she met her first husband, Lord Gavin Rissik. Despite the wishes of the Ista Aldrik family and Queen Sabine, Gellina joined the Chimera Clan and took up the Rissik last name. She had her first daughter, Akiva, and in the next few years would bear a son, Sirio. Political strife would cause Gellina to divorce Gavin some years later, and Gellina always had a hope of perhaps being able to remarry him when times weren't so tough. She never let it get her too far down, though, and was known for her love of parties, her extensive wardrobe and cheery demeanor.

Gellina would find herself the victim of a series of unfortunate events. After finding out her best friend, Nevra, was sentenced to death, she spoke out in support of Priestess Alyosha Rabiashik ('news Alyosha') against the supposed atrocity of killing a pregnant woman. Soon after she was put under house arrest in the Ista Aldrik estate, where she would meet her end in 37 A.U.. A horrible snow and ice storm hit the city and when it thawed, Lady Gellina was found frozen to death in her room, alone. She is survived by her daughter, Lady Akiva, and her son, Lord Sirio.
