Glassworks Tavern

The Glassworks Tavern began its life in the Palace District as a simple glassworking shop which gradually went out of business. When General Lidanos, the Head Investigator of the Guard, announced his retirement he was given the deed to the old shop by the Ranivor Elianos. At that time, the only social gathering place in Anarinuell was the Diplomat Inn, which restricted its patronage to royalty and nobles. General Lidanos decided to turn the shop into a tavern where his fellow guards could congregate and relax, along with any commoners who wished to have their own casual gatherings. The small tavern soon became the scene of many a friendly brawl between princes, a tradition which continues to this day. The Glassworks is run by General Lidanos' wife in his absence, and Dianora in turn relies on the aid of the General's old friend Krolos for the tavern's day-to-day operations.
