MIGHTY IC SHENANIGANS
It would seem that even though she's a Bear now, Lady Emma Teranzik nee Firgalik (Clan Leader Ojitar's sister and, uh... sister-in-law through her marriage to Lord Empyrean Teranzik) just couldn't stay out of the fray at the recent Cockatrice party that the Gold Dragons went to crash. It's said that she came in with fists flying, punched that crazy Katja woman in the thigh, then... collapsed? And started... crying? While this might not be surprising to some - she /is/ a woman, after all - to those that know Emma, it might come as a shock. Is life as a Bear softening that iron resolve? Let's hope so!
A sculpture of an ox, of an ox once named CuddlePiez, has begun to take shape in Sarkaran! It will take a few days to complete, but word has it that Lady Tia Firgalik herself has come by to view its construction. One can view it outside the Cockatrice Palace in Sarkaran.
Lord Governor Cortik held his meet and greet with the people of Sarkaran. He invited any dissenters to come and voice their opinions and questions and yet was strangely met with silence. But he made a rousing speech about the importance of bringing forth our attitudes toward fighting the Goats and not each other. Of course, that didn't dissuade Clan Leader Diamia from strumming the same tired chord. Alas.
Clan tensions seem to be winding higher and higher - inflammatory pictures are cast all about the Cockatrice District, but more alarmingly, it seems two Firgalik farm animals were stolen, slain and left in the Gold Dragon district. Not much has gotten out to the public about it, but many speculate as to who done it. Katja is an obvious guess, but some wonder who else it could be.
On top of all that, Lady General Taleena has announced that all Cockatrice and Gold Dragon guards are suspended from their duties in the First until the clan tensions have died down. Lord Zafir Junik speeched his agreement, at least, so that's alright, and he made sure all GD First guards got free drinks! Even better. However, it's a little confusing, seeing as Lady Taleena has also previously stated she would be increasing patrol, making the valid point that in times of dissent, Shamibelians might strike - but then she cuts out two clans worth of guards? Shifty.
And then, disaster strikes. Sort of. A Shami air raid from the goats occurred, and it's said that only a couple of people were attacked and hurt. More unusual, however, is that scrolls were dropped all over the city. The guards were quick to collect these up, and leaders of district quick to call their gards to arms. It's said that Lady Taleena's speech about increasing patrol was written upon it. The word 'spies!' circulates.
