The word on everyone's lips as of late seems to be of the scandal rising between the Firgalik and Ista Aldrik families. Lord Proxy Argus apparently obtained some sort of evidence indicating that Ladies Petrina and Fidelia Ista Aldrik conspired to bring about the downfall of our much loved Lady Lucretia by sending a whore who resembled her to the White Dove, thus causing the end of her marriage to Prince Sadin. Now that this evidence has surfaced, the Gold Dragons are calling for the reinstatement of their Princess Lucretia's marriage to Prince Sadin. Lady Petrina made a speech in the forum, swearing that she had nothing to do with this whore impersonating the Princess Lucretia, but the way she followed after Mes Faythe, the whore in question, accompanied by a Mer Nawar who was bearing a bow and arrow suggest to some that the Ista Aldrik's have something to hide. Most Gold Dragons are absolutely outraged by such actions and seem to be pleased that Lord Proxy Argus finally brought these actions to light. -- If you haven't done so already, you may wish to diss Petrina and praise Argus. Try to focus disses and praises on one person per week as they are more effective that way. --
On a more pleasant note, it seems that Judge Yarkon's wife, Mes Sholana is expecting. It may be to the surprise of some, as the Judge is getting on in years, but it seems that Zutiv has smiled upon their marriage and chosen to bless them.
The Spring Festival seemed to go well, although there was more uproar in the Bear Clan at the closing ceremonies. It seems that a Mer Philander Jaffus won a pentathalon and as his prize, chose to marry Lady Proxy Junia. They were wed at the closing ceremonies, though the Ranivor is said to have decreed that they may not consumate the marriage for at least 6 months. However, overall, its said that Ladies Lucretia and Olena Firgalik were pleased by the turnout and level of activity at the festival.
Shortly after the Spring Festival ended, the soldiers shipped off to Ellish for the war season. Please remember to go daily to the True Temple of Zutiv and pray for all the brave souls who have gone to fight against the Shamibelians.
A Ladies Intensive was run this weekend by Mes Kameelya Keniwik and it proved to be quite the success. Though the turnout was small and full of apparently shy ladies, they did seem eager to learn. Both etiquette and childrearing classes were taught to the avid learners by Lady Olena Firgalik. Seen in attendance were Lady Lucretia Firgalik, Lady Shenisa Mansosik, Mes Aurora Ranorbus, Mes Leena Mageeran, and Mes Jayni. The ladies of the Gold Dragon clan are most grateful to Mes Kameelya and hope another such weekend will be run again soon.
