IC NEWS ~ The Hydra Affair ~ -The man named Hadinikas earned glory and stenis for his family (and pardon for anything criminal there might have been) because of his heroics: He brought death to the traitor Pavan at the cost of his own life. -Pavan, who turned out to be the real Pavan, is risking soul death for his crimes. A religious council will determine if this fate is just. -Some of the Arinzi leaders are charged with treason, for not only letting Draugik help out, but letting him take over! Aldrikos' judgement (Arinzi findings, @bb/read 14/48 OR @bb/author 14/Aldrikos) elaborates on the subject. -Prince Corpse of Vahlgellan is found innocent of masterminding the events in which he was involved (no surprise there... Vahlgellan - Mastermind?) But he is a guilty accomplice, although that makes little difference to his dead body. -Aldrikos says the hydra are about ready to stand on their own feet again! -Aldrikos goes off to oversee republic withdrawal from the hydra clan, Amenik is proxy back here in the meantime. -Lady Nazeera (with the blessing of Nalia) tries to save the souls of those eaten or maimed by griffons by funeral riting the griffon meat, of which parts of them have become part. Complicated phrasing? Rivaren's leg is in a griffon. One might worry that if it is not subjected to a proper funeral, his soul will be trapped there. Therefore, the entire bird is funeraled, hopefully freeing Rivaren's soul from his leg. Yes, of course his soul stays in his leg when the bird eats it! Where do you think Firans keep their souls?
~ Anikos' folly ~ -Mer Recis Aurik succedes Mer Anikos Aurik as head of the Aurik household. (Anikos left no will, he might have expected to live past his blunder) -We've heard absolutely nothing from the mob since... -Unsurprisingly, the clan council's faith in Viceroy Taleo stands strong despite the tragic event whose popular name clearly places the blame... uh... Anikos' folly. His resignation was rejected, and he is still viceroy. -Lord Firgus Keniwik has taken over as Gold Dragon Field Commander!
~ The Games ~ -The horse races seem to have been very successful, and a lot of fun. Lady Proxy Fidelia was or was not paddled and then certainly whacked Prince Torianos with the paddle so fiercely that it broke -and it was later auctioned away at one million stenis. Yeah, and there is the possibility of acquiring a horse for nothing. Well, you'll have to win it, but you won't pay. This is a good kind of event! -Another horse race: A prize of 1.000.000 stenis is given to some winner's favourite charity, and... What animal does the Viceroy's bedroom sound like at night? -Something suggests that Lady Yvette voluntarily danced in a loincloth for prince Zaridos. How... proper. Heh. But when it happens at the horse races, we know why it happens (don't we?) and appreciate the good sportmanship. -Okatik (a ticanee) must have tried to protect a noble or something like that. At the horse races. Where pie throwing isn't really such an outrage. And the elders of our realm knocked him out.
~ Other ~ -OOOPS! Lady Emeelya Manosik was NOT a Manosik, but a Firgalik... That she is sent 'back' to the Manosik family instead gains her more sympathy, and makes our clan leader look worse than ever. Socially. -Sometimes we have these superpowerful praise campaigns... Ojitar, 562 praises, 12 million sp. -Junik Birth: Zafir's ninth: Julia Junik.
-Bethrotal: Prince Zaridos (eagle) amd Lady Laytania Firgalik! (Guess what... yeah GD) He'll become eagle, I suppose. An eagle will be married into the gold dragon clan at a later point. -Lord Amenik Istabelik and Lady Gemella Ista Aldrik are engaged. Announced by Viceroy Taleo. -Lucretia announces the courtship of Lord Proxy Razesh to Lady Yvette Didoron!
-Viceroy Taleo kicks doves out of the palace. They're supposed to be at the dove. Apparently, Taleo has made quite liberal use of doves on other occations. -Lahsette (Our Olypmic Coordinator) scheduled olympics tryouts for march 23. I couldn't be there, so I have no idea what happened. There could be more tryouts. -Lady Deelia Iberik offers free food to those in need. Priority factors: Clan-eagle & need-dire. -Prince Zaridos and Lord Centurion Marsalos Iberik (Hey, isn't that the Lord of the Games?) are going to inspect/study eagle naval forces, and they hope to accomplish some good for the republic navy by this. Among other things. -Centurion Abayos Mink has been horsebreeding as part of a sentence. I don't know what, maybe he was a horsethief during the dragon days. Anyway, it seems to have satisfied the judge. He's in the clear now. -His Honour Nydiam was FINED! 1 million stenis for not keeping the Leatherworks active. The idle stores in palace district policy of Viceroy Taleo also struck Mer Antonius Marcus, owner of Treasures From the Fire. Maybe he sold it all out? Are we encouraging him to restock, light another one? -For those who do not read (board) social adjustments: It is generally believed among gold dragons that Odoni killed Lord Halakeye (born GD) on purpose. If that was true, Sadin's judgement would be far too lenient. -There are many who want new leadership of the true temple. Father Rasmus is an able and willing candidate, and certainly he is already high priest in the eyes of a gold dragon? At least High Priest Javier seems incapable or unwilling to do perform his duty. Which is -horrible- due to the importance of his station. -Lady Nevra Ista Barun is apponted Ticanee Minister of Child Welfare -Dec. 4. was Elianos' birthday! Celebration! Yay! (You might want to find out who hosted parties and such, and who should have been there. Social stuff) -Finally! Delegate Karana has been chosen as Speaker to the Clan Council.
