The fall festival which has been taking up so much of the population's time recently comes to a close this evening. Pentathalon medals will be handed out, and prizes will be chosen. The Gold Dragons have done well at the festival with our own Lord Proxy Argus and Lord Atreides winning the two-man combat tourney by a mile, Young Bukatio Emagalish winning a Pentathalon and several other Gold Dragons proving themselves well and getting into the spirit of the events. Several Gold Dragon nobles, and even those who aren't noble were seen running and participating in events.
During the course of the festival, Lady Proxy Junia Ista Aldrik's husband Lord Philander was accused of some sort of treasonous conspiracy and thrown into prison. He was later convicted of the lesser charge of stealing from the clan and stripped of his title and last name. However, in the spirit of the festival, once Philander had apologized, Junia relented and restored his noble title and the last name of Ista Aldrik. On the whole the occurrence was really quite scandalous.
Another event of high magnitude is already on the horizon as the Olympics are to take place in the not too distant future. Lady Lucretia has already been hard at work with preparations, even ordering uniforms for our team members to wear. She should be praised for her patriotic efforts. This week we are praising Lucretia and dissing Junia if it is IC for you to do so.
