Around the Walls:
The recent Royal Wedding turned from happy occasion into a bloodbath, and in the end was completely called off in a rather passionate speech by Lady Melani. Names have not yet been released of those who perished in the riots, but the known injury levels are massive. There have been calls to assist in the cleaning of the scared path, and our own Lord Audentus Manosik has been assisting with entertainment etc. If you can offer your time then please make your way to the sacred path for scrubbing duty.
People seem to be vanishing from the city left, right and centre. Two children have now been reported missing - Commander Zakaro Lapis' youngest son Thaeo and Mes Sinshina's child (gender unreported). Were that not enough to get people panicking there are several notables missing after the fuss that had the Zinian temple closed - Ladies Puria, Ketria, Vana and Galadra, Lord Neo, and several commoners (Orsatos, Piarres, Zateen). Anyone with information on any of these missing people are encouraged to report to Commander Lapis and Lady Rasha Rissik in the case of the children, and the guard in the case of the missing adults.
The Gold Dragon Memorial dedication was sparsely attended. Lady Kameelya spoke first of the reason behind the fountain, the dedication to those fallen in battle. Then High Priest Javier gave a beautiful blessing of the fountain.
The giant eagles recently delivered a present of fish to the city, many of which have been released in the pool in the Zinian temple - they call it an offering. It is rumoured the eagles have eggs in their nest now -- perhaps this was a thank you for keeping a respectful distance.
The child known as Sren has been cleared of all charges lain against him due to the first not being able to provide any evidence. Since the charges were killing and vandalism it has to cause doubt on the abilities of the first.
The recent Military Ball was a roaring success and is rumoured to have raised in the region of 2.5 million stenis. Depsite it having been run by Lady Melani there were no riots at that point.
