With war season fast approaching lawyers are once more crawling out of the woodwork to offer their services free for the military -- the first being Jahala Dranieez. If any of our soldier wish to take her up on her offer then you should seek her out at the Write Stuff shop in the forum, as none of our good Gold Dragon boys would surely been seen at the Temple of Eesha. Right?
Clan Leader Inaya, Lord Taleo and Prince Zaridos seem to have entered into a battle of words over property, specifically that of the Elianiks. Lord Taleo has claimed it as republic land, she as that of the Chimera clan and called into question the lands once owned by the late Prince Solgarik which is now the property of the Eagles. Could this be a smokescreen to hide the recent upheaval to do with her use of the Elianik name and the lack of confidence in her ability to sit on the religious council? One surely has to wonder where all this is leading.
With the return of the kidnapped nobles a strange group of outsiders have come to live in the city. People seem unable to understand a word they say and they've been housed with the Ticanee. Some grumblings have been made about not trusting these people, others commenting that it's simply a case of savages come to live with savages.
August appears to have been the month of Weddings. First the fiasco that was Prince Torianos and Lady Melani's wedding, and now the much calmer celebrations of Prince Rislan and Clan Leader Ania (a large reception was promised following this one) and our own Lady Corrina who has left us to join her husband Lord Mateo in the Ticanee clan.
Some crafters in Anarinuell are demanding that trade tarrifs be put on shipments coming from Vahloria, because the Ticanee crafters there are living in mud huts and willing to work for two stenis an hour, and are undercutting Anarinuell profits.
Mes Yapra Keniwik has once more opened Dragon's Den Designs with a large selection of goods for sale. The shop was previously owned by her sister, the late Irina Montego, so has a large reputation to live up to. So far she seems more than capable.
The kidnapped son of Commander Zakaro lapis was found safe and well in the True Temple by our own Mes Ryanna Firabi and returned to his family safely. It is assumed that his clothing was burned, but the child was thankfully unharmed.
