Recent Scandals Among the City
All over the city there is a nasty disease of the nose everyone is coming down with! Seems that Zutiv is trying to send a message to some that they should be on the righteous path of good. The disease seems to be contageous and the infected has been quarentined to the various clinics to be cared for. It has been heard that there are many people out there that are trying to sell cures, but none have been really affective, only steni scams. There are healers out there that have come up with some cures to the disease, but it seems that there have been many deaths in this wave of what has been known as "Red Bloom" or the plague.
Seems the true temple's beloved High Priest has gone missing. After a few months of his disappearing, Javier has not sent word of his whereabouts or his plans to come back. There were some who were sent to look for him in different places and no one was able to find him. Seems that he has disappeared and the priests and initiates in the True Temple have been worried about him. Seems High Inquisitor Brother Sedarius has been named second in command in the Temple at the moment and is overseeing any and all clues and searching for the High Priest.
Canot was seen, beat up pretty badly and being dragged off to the Gold Dragon District. A floofy eagle at the Glassworks says he saw Canot standing and getting pummeled, but that he didn't even flinch at all the hits, that the person fighting him broke in a sweat trying to knock him out! The Gruffle drunkard disagrees and says that Canot is just a dumb ox who may be able to take a lot of hits, but that's because he's too dumb and slow to fight back.
Announcements and General News!
There seems to be a new thing around the city. A warship! That't right, from the rumors about the city are that Prince Zaridos and others have retrieved a warship from the Shambelians and have brought the S.S. Fudathim back to the city. People are all atwitter about what this means in the progress of our war tactics.
The iron regiment has returned to the city. In great cheer and honor, they sweep into the city, having drinks and food with the people. Telling their stories of war and other such things as they make their way to every tavern and inn in the city it would seem. The rumors float around about the different stories that have been heard and then of course, embellished as each person retells them.

On an Ending Note:
This is a small newsletter, I have been wrapped up in RL stuff, and I apologize for it being so short! I will definitely be bringing something much better next week!
Everyone have a wonderful week! Also, let's try to get all the newsletter information together and sent to me by July 2, 2007 so we can have all the news and rumors that are around the district and the city as a whole. Also, all praise and diss suggestions, are just that, suggestions. Do what is or isn't IC for your character.
