From FiranMUX
This is the first newsletter from your new FacHead, Nestor. Much of this information ought to have been posted earlier, but late is sooner than never.
- IC News*
-The peak of the red dragon crisis has come and passed, with the killings of several firans. The Prince Viceroy Sadin had to choose one of two little girls to die, but Centurion Ankur (Griffon clan) saved her at the cost of his own life. Fortunately, the dragon did not eat him, so he will have a proper funeral. Also, 4 priests, 4 healers and 4 horsemen participated in this. -The passing of the crisis comes with the very same Sadin defeating the Dragon in a game of chess. Because of this, the Chimera has been reunited, and our horses may feel a little safer. As long as griffons stay where griffons belong. (The animals, notorious horse eaters) -Father Rasmus offered the astonishing commission of 350.000 stenis for a replica of the chess game!-All Gold Dragon statistics steady (corruption, birth rate and similar items) -Our own Unsel Gadinik won the grand melee! *he's also in dire need of whipping, as always* -Anikos, also a GD, came in second. Two good results for our clan! -For those who wondered, the Prince Viceroy Sadin took the third prize. -Your FacHead, Nestor Montigo, has been promoted to full priest at the True Temple. (At an age of 25 years) -Lord Throstan Keniwik, Lord Firgus and Lady Yapra's first born son came into the world early morning, Feb 9, 32 A.U. in all places, the True Temple of Zutiv. Lord Throstan is a handsome and baby boy with a lusty cry and strong lungs. Lord Throstan made it known that /he/ is Firgus Keniwik's son; his grandfather, the legendary Hero Throg's blood coursing through his vein. Both parents are full of pride, especially Firgus knowing at LAST he has a son from his own blood. -The market reopened. It has now ceased to deal in gems. At all. Too much trouble, it seems. -Taleo is now in charge of the Firan Bussiness Fund.

- Suggested praise/diss targets*
Sir Captain tUnsel Gadinik, for winning the Grand Melee Sir tAnikos Aurik, for being number two, further increasing GD glory from Unsel's victory. Lord Commander tFirgus Keniwik, and Lady tYapra Keniwik. They now have a healthy son together! Congratulations are in order (and probably already offered) (No disses added because the FacHead didn't feel comfortable about doing that. He only picked up Nestor's reasons for wanting /you/ to diss <insert name>, and he won't post that.)

-Horsebreeding has become more difficult, and there are a few new rules for horsebreeders to check out. Bugs are expected, as this is new code. Another thing about horses is: You can now secure them, so that stealing them won't be a trot in the park. (@bb/read 4/10-14) -The volumes for all clothing items have been reviewed for consistency and to take account the amount of cloth used in each item.
