GRACIANA

One cannot discuss Graciana's life without examining the triumphs of the Firan people. Indeed, she was not only alive to see many of them, but in her own way, she helped support them.

She was Soli's high priestess and, some would say, almost like Soli incarnate. She was a mother, a grandmother, a nanny...anything that was required of her. She was selfless, caring, giving...yet gods forbid you should cross her, for she could lash out with the ferocity of a mother lion.

She helped raise the entire royal family (with the exception of Elianos, of course. If she had, he would have turned out much more polite, and with a well washed neck.) and for that reason, Prince Solgarik awarded her with the title of Sharani of the Republic, for it would not have stood were it not for her hard work and influence.

Graciana passed unto Unot's embrace quietly in the Winter of 22 AU, in her sleep. She lived a life of extraordinary length and richness. And the loss felt at her death was only tempered by the fact that she would not have wanted people to mourn her forever. There will never be another soul quite like Graciana.
