Griffon Newsletter 108 - 11/21/04

With me moving house in a week, things have been a frenzy of packing/setting up in preperation, which is why I have gotten to this newsletter late. Thanks go to Olero and Neesha for helping with news items for this newsletter.

News:

Heat Wave

Just as the festival come to a close, the heat starts to rise, making some of those younger and older people fall ill due to heat exhaustion. Caution is advised, and if you or someone you know gets sick, contact a healer for advice.

SNAKES!!

It is unusal for snakes to be seen in force within various districts.

During the attack on the Griffon District, which made their way to the Palace district, a contemporary witness notes that both Mes Maja, and Mes Arda, fought with aggression and bravery and kept clear heads, even as they where surrounded by a mass of the invaders, and almost overwhelmed, carrying a valiant defence, until aid from the 1st division arrived. It is this type of courage seen throughout the Griffon clan women, and a show of the advantages of clan wide concription into the clan's military.

New High Priestess of Temple of UF

Formerly Priestess Neesha, now she has been promoted to High Priestess of her temple, a great honor indeed. Three Cheers for High Priestess Neesha!

Could it be?

The aftermath of the raid of the goats revealed that Lord High General Draugik was missing, and with several fires, one in the Eagle district, and the other in the Chimera district, both taking down apartments, it seems that some say that Lord Draugik was present.. could there be any truth to these rumors, and Lord Draugik could have gone willingly, or was he taken by force and remaining a prisoner?

Welcome aboard everyone, feel free to @mail/page me with useful information regarding your characters, ic happenings and whatever else you want to share with the clan. If you haven't already - addcom gr=Griffon to add the Clan channel. Please only stick to clan channels you have rights to be on. For children who have rights more that one throne, or children who are looking at being adpoted into the clan. Also children who have one of their parents in a clan are entitled to stay on that clan's channel until their CoS, at which point they have to choose the clan they will live in.

Any additions/missed items/corrections can also be sent to me for inclusion into the next newsletter, as well as any suggestions you might have for making this newsletter better.. remember, this newsletter is something I am doing for the clan, it is your opinion that matters.
