Draugik removed, Latta is his replacement

Nalia made the following judgment at Firan time: 01:03:20 AM on Fri Dec 9, in the year 32 A.U.:

Due to Lord Draguik's disappearance, he is hereby removed from his position as High General, and Dame Latta is promoted to that rank, heading up the Griffon military. If Lord Draugik one day returns, his return to that position will be evaluated at this time.

"Did ya hear?" Gossips one to another, "The Lady Regent has removed Draguik's rank of High General and promoted Dame Latta?" He shrugs, "I guess it had to happen, with Lord Draugik missing and all."

The second one nods, "I heard that, but also the republic military seems to have done nothing about the fact Lord Draugik is missing.. I woulda thought They would have jumped at the chance to demote him to sentry until he was at least recovered - especially with all those rumors of him helping the goats."

"But then when has the military ever been known for intelligence?" Both laugh..

The Truth about Mer Isik

Word spreads, especially among those in the Cockatrice and Griffon Clans that one Mer Isik of the Ticanee clan has been demanding some students donate money to the Ticanee Resettlement fund as well as pay the Academy fees for his teaching.. for Griffons this represented a doubling in price..

Lady Galadra started some classes of her own, advertising for the clans of whom Mer Isik seems to have problems with.. congratulations.

Shortly after his first class, a notice went up from Mer Isik saying that the rest of his classes were canceled for some reason.

"But why just Griffon and Cockatrice clans? Well, Mer Isik married into the clan from the Gold Dragon clan.. makes sense now doesn't it? Typical Gold Dragon male.. always wanting to put us down," The town gossip says, taking a sip of tea. "Thank the Gods for Lady Galadra though.. she organized some teaching for us, at no extra cost too.. Perhaps she had something to do with Mer Isik stopping his classes?"

One of the others shakes her head, speaking up. "No no no.. I heard that it was Lady Xamori and Lord Taleo that 'reminded' this Mer that the facilities were to be used to train everyone.."

My Fortune for a wig!

Mer Sabinar Vasen-Darkas has been heard asking around for a wig maker..seems that he is preparing the dashing Rasmus for the eventuality that his Halfie camps get established. And how much respect can a balding man get? Now if he had a full set of hair.. Perhaps Sabinar has something here.

Second child for Preistess Neesha and Sentry Stefan

That is right, Priestess Neesha has had her second child with her husband, Sentry Stefan. Her daughter, Anine, is small, but by all accounts very healthy. Both mother and child are recovering comfortably.

New Birth

Lady Galadra gave birth to a healthy little boy, named Dorian? Both she and the baby are doing fine!

There has been an important change to the rules about ranks between republic and clan militaries: The ranks on both must be the same. What does it mean for our clan based on the latest postings of our clan military structure?

Ranks to be adjusted upwards in the clan military: 5. Ranks to be adjusted downwards in the clan military: 10. Ranks that stay the same: 5

• sigh* Looks like the clan military lists might have to be tinkered with quite a bit to fit the new rules. Those adjustments are considering current republic ranks, including the fact the republic military still has Lord Draugik pegged as High General.

• Isik: For having the gall to use republic facilities to teach, and yet impose higher cost to those who were from clans he didn't like.

Praise:

• Lady Galadra: For steping up and trying to provide classes without additional costs to children of Griffon and Cockatrice clans.
• Latta: For being promoted to High General by Lady Regent Nalia.
• Nalia: For making a judgment on Lord Druagik's rank, and raising Dame Latta to fill the spot.

Commands, features:

• Spank command: Ever needed to punish a misbehaving child or child object? Now you can, with the spank command. Just quickly engage the child (or object) in combat and then smack them. Simple. (help spank)
• Surrender to command: Ever needed to allow someone to enage you in combat but for some reason they couldn't.. perhaps you have been given lashes of the whip as punishment for a crime.. the surrender command will allow them to get a free engage. (help surrender and help unserrender)
• Messengers/prayer emit: Ever been annoyed by the fact that when you send a message, or pary to a God with a message that the game doesn't emit those for you? That has been changed, and now for all messages and each time you pray with a message, that message will be emitted to your screen only so that those of us who log stuff will have a copy. Brilliant!
• Squash foods: Until now, there were no foods that used the squash in them. Not the case any more, as so far there have been two new dishes that use the squash: Baked Squash, and Chicken and Squash. Want something different? Try them today!
• Bank overdraft: Tired of carrying around all those stenis for employment? Worried that Childcare might come due and you don't have stenis on you? Set an overdraft account at the bank. What does it do? If you don't have enough stenis on you, it takes the balance from the account set as overdraft. How do I set that? Go to the bank and type the command @bank/overdraft and set the number of the account to be used.
