Fire! Fire in the district! After a few fires outside of the city, the first of the fires within the city happened outside the messenger service in our district. The fire was put out without too much effort.
This would not be the most dangerous of the fires as one started in the fields near the Royal Palace in the palace district. Just before it got to the steps of the palace it was put out by numerous courageous fire fighters. It caused the rescheduling of the thrown weapons event until a later date.
Did Rishon really ask Lord Rodiste whether it was true that he was going to buy everyone drinks with the stenis he got from the marketplace at the Olympics race event? Many people whisper that it is so. Lord Rodiste was heard to invite Rishon to his estate for mint tea. What exactly happened is uncertain, but the next morning Rishon was found unconscious in the Army Barracks, bruised, beaten, and with a severe cut into his ankle. Sure, he's limping, but people are saying he's not as agile as he once was.
Mer Artaro Nesharen was seen briefly outside Creative Expressions putting up a sign saying that the store will be closed for a while longer due to personal reasons. Some could swear that shortly afterward sounds of shattering pottery and splintering wood could be heard from within the store. Some of the gossip mongers in the clan say that that this must be the result of the execution of his wife.. others say he was just doing a spring clean associated with the restocking of Creative Expressions.
Mer Artaro has been seen out and about, mainly for olympic events, though others speak of him being at a quiet funeral for his wife..
Clan Leader Luna has made a pilgrimage to the Oracle, after which time she will be making a visit to the Griffon half of Scirlut. (OOC: And when she is taken from the roster, she will return.)

He is sentenced as follows:
Lord Belome forfeits, for a period of three years, all personal revenues to the Griffon Clan. His Head of House has instructions to see that he does not go hungry, nor go cold. He is stripped of his position as Griffon Minister of Justice, and is forbidden from holding position in the Griffon Clan until he has served at the Ellish war front. Further, he is fined 500,000 stenis, and to be lashed until unconscious.
